A Bristol City supporter has started a thread on R.T.G. Pure Football regarding a compulsory strike off against the above company. What's the news down your way. Is it just a City fan having a dig or is there reason for concern?

Goes against this extract in the Bristol posts text from joeys interview Saturday where it sounds like something positive is brewing behind the scenes. Or am I just clutching at straws
โI think theyโre fully aware of it. Everything I see, you do get the odd person whoโs not overly happy and quite vociferous about that, but on the whole I think the Gasheads know this is a transitional phase for the football club on and off the pitch, and stuff will come out going forward that will give them a full understanding of whatโs happening at the football club.โ

Could That have been the company set up to develop a new stadium for us but it has now been decided these external partners will be building us one as rumoured? Either that or weโre just not building one anymore ๐

Could be completely meaningless, but at a recent meeting with my local councilor who is one the planning committee (deputy head) , was asked by me if anything happening re stadium and Bristol and he just gave me a big smile back... again could be he had wind. this is the same councilor who approved the Sainsbury project

I thought they were called Dwayne sports limited, not Dwayne developments UK limited? Yeah they are Greggsy this seems to be a separate company. The title suggests it was set up for some kind of buiding project maybe?

I am far from an expert on these things. It just seems like an admin function, due to lack of activity of business. Companies house will dissolve business that have been set up but have no trading history. That is my best guess, nothing more than that I wouldn't of thought.

How many companies do you need to operate a bloody football club....
I must say, that I preferred it when it was just one....

How many companies do you need to operate a bloody football club.... I must say, that I preferred it when it was just one.... it's just things that have happened other time for various reasons. This is just poor house keeping. As far as I am aware The Memorial Stadium Company is effectively dead and any assets are ultimately under the control of Dwane Sports. It should be properly shut down and absorbed under 1883Ltd. In the meantime file the accounts. It's just one of those things that get forgotten about because there is zero going on with it
