Need to get the delusional narcissist out of this club TONIGHT.
He is a fraud and should he struck off for gross negligence.

20 defeats in 28 games under Barton. Don’t be fooled into thinking there are many wins out of those 8 games we didn’t lose either.

We should have done the ethically correct thing and suspended him without pay, due to his court case.
Yet more poor decision making from our esteemed CEO will cost us even more money to sack him.
You really couldn’t make it up at times.

I said after the exeter game that JB is taking us for a ride and everything he has done since then has made me more certain of this. One last payday before he goes into HMS lodgings and one last chance to f×+k everything up for our club. Why he would want to do this I have not the foggiest, but Wael now has to realise that we are going nowhere except back to non league under this charlaton. I don't believe he has purposely been losing games and f**ked everything up as you said, but it is clearly not working right now. I was all for giving him some time I thought he would give us some grit, but we are shocking. Teams do not have to play with any defenders against us as we having nothing in attack. Pitman is done. Clarke is good as now he is out injured, Nicholson is injured again... we are absolutely hopeless up front. Every team must feel so comfortable that we aren't going to score. Teams know rovers are under pressure. They close down quick early on causing rushed passes and errors. That hits confidence and its a struggle after that. Pitman found some excellent positions all through the game, especially 2nd half. The problem was nobody put the ball in the right place or at all. He found the positions to score at least one open play goal...but the ball never arrived. Anderton was the early weak link. Its been obvious that he cant play in a back three. His distribution was woeful .

The bottom line. If rovers sack Barton they HAVE no choice but to approach a currently serving manager. Has to be someone who has previously won promotion from this league. Forget the "who is available" as they are not going to be any good.
Compensation will need to be paid. Its the only serious option if promotion is desired.

I knew we were furlked when we signed Pitman. If that was the height of our ambitions it was obvious we were gonna struggle .

I’ve just watched Weymouth v dover and I’d swap any of the 8 defensive players on display for him. He should never start another game for us again.

For all Joeys knowledge and contacts (apparently) we've signed has beens way past their best and his ex-mates from Fleetwood.
Utterly disgusting and p*ss poor recruitment from the scouse fraud. He should never manage again.

The thing is if you look back over the last ten years or so the managers I’ve been happy with have tended to have turned out to be sh**e and those I was underwhelmed by have performed well. Perhaps with exception to Garner, and maybe GC (underwhelmed when appointment caretaker, not that it really matters as caretaker, but obvs delighted when appointed perm) Job of the CEO to pick a decent manager. Up to you Martyn.

Just tried watching his interview and I can’t sit through the waffle. It was an improvement on past interviews. He admitted it was now his responsibility, he couldn't hark back to the issues he inherited last season, and started to distance himself from promotion promises. When I say it was an improvement, I mean it was more honest and realistic, but it's a sorry state of affairs that we have to listen to it after all the previous hype.

Get him gone NOW. Disgraceful performance yet again. Pathetic defending, no discernible pattern of play, only shot on target the penalty in injury time. Diabolical. I don't want to hear anymore bullshit about time to gel, Orient had 8 new players that played today and it was men against boys. Get rid.

No the delusion was still there as he still went on about how we’re going to get promoted when we are in the relegation zone, but I agree with Aghast that it was restrained and self reflective this time around.
