I think because this thread has once again 'morphed' into a 'pro' and 'anti' JB debate as well as a 'fitness' discussion among others we are losing sight of the fact that the real reason this was a very good point away from home was the 'positive, entertaining OP by Sqiffy! more please Sqiff, your positive energy must be getting through to Squad! much more of this and JB will be inviting you to give 'pep' talks ! keep up the good work for what will be an equally tough game on Tuesday!

If this fixture was last season, we would have lost it easily. It felt like if we conceded the first goal, we would go on to lose.. This season, it's a testament to spirit and fitness, we've come from behind to claim point(s) and that's a huge swing around from where we were to where we are now. I honestly believe if there had been 15 more minutes yesterday, we would have won because the last 5 minutes it was all us attacking.... Yes, that's fair. I will concede, one significant difference now compared to even 4-5 weeks ago is that we aren't completely capitulating after we concede. Even after Alfie scored, once they scored again immediately after I was convinced we'd get tanked, but we actually went up a gear and fought back. Still so, so much to work on - but mentally the players not only seem to be stronger than recent seasons, they're still improving week by week which is encouraging. Absolutely agree I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought game over when the 2nd went in. The fact we've scored goals late in 3 of the last 4 games is also a positive for me, we didn't do that for so long it was ridiculous

According to SofaScore we finished the match with 53% possession. First half Bradford 57% Gas 43% Second half Bradford 36% Gas 64% If I was a Ted I’d be worried , sh** 26% Bournemouth 74% That's been the case in many of the 'Teds' game this season but somehow they have picked up points away from home, else they would be in big trouble!

if we had jesus christ in charge of this football club there would still be those wanting him crusified In fairness jesus has already got a bit of form in that area.

sounds like you have already found him guilty, I believe he is innocent until proven guilty, anyway that's another subject for another day No, that's the law. You're allowed to have an opinion about stuff independent of a court of law. Otherwise you'd just be having other people tell you what to think. I mean, this is so obvious, I don't understand why people keep going on about innocent until proven guilty, without adding 'in the eyes of the law' after it, as if it means something. thought this was a Bradford v Rovers match day thread and not about JB personal life, sorry my mistake

Besides a good away point, we are now managing to score goals which was something we couldn't do regularly up until recently. That alone gives me reason for optimism

I'd like to apologise to RD (and the rest of you) for my posts last night. Yes, I do find his little comments annoying, however, I shouldn't have reacted as I did. I'm certainly guilty of throwing a few pithy one-liners around myself, so pot-kettle and all that. I know that we think differently regarding JB, and I respect and understand his opinion. It's been a difficult week, and I'm sorry that RD got blasted when the dam burst. I'm really not that person, and I don't want to be. UTG - hope you all have a great Sunday.

I didn’t think there was much wrong with yr posts Tilly - no one is perfect - although I do think sometimes you are overly critical of yrself . Better to be that way inclined than totally intransigent 👍💙Utg

Highlights, for those who haven't seen them yet. 2 great assists by Evans, and 2 great headers Quite agree about Evans deliveries, De Bruyne would have been happy with the second one. Listening to Pitmans post match interview, he was saying besides himself, Coutts,Whelan & Thomas didn’t have proper pre-season’s i am sure there’s a lot more to come from this squad.

Have just seen the goals. That was a seriously good header from Pitman. No luck and a great finish. Had that been on MOTD Shearer and Wright would have been drooling over it. He knew it was coming and got his body in the perfect position to put the ball into the one place the keeper couldn’t get it. Brilliant! Without thinking too much I’d say that’s one of the top 20/30 goals I’ve seen for us. It probably won’t be remembered but it was a typical striker goal. Well done Brett. UTG! And surely great credit to the guy who crossed it to him. Anthony Evans? Brett barely had to move to head it.

If pitman touches the ball once a game and he scores i will take that.seems the team have a togetherness and are certainly playing for each other and the management.

The assist was right on the button but let’s not pretend all he had to do was nod it in. Very few in the football league score headers from the edge of the box without jumping.
