And surely great credit to the guy who crossed it to him. Anthony Evans? Brett barely had to move to head it. The execution of the header was sensational. The assist was right on the button but let’s not pretend all he had to do was nod it in. Very few in the football league score headers from the edge of the box without jumping. Good Lord, I wasn't suggesting otherwise. It was a sensational header.

Have just seen the goals. That was a seriously good header from Pitman. No luck and a great finish. Had that been on MOTD Shearer and Wright would have been drooling over it. He knew it was coming and got his body in the perfect position to put the ball into the one place the keeper couldn’t get it. Brilliant! Without thinking too much I’d say that’s one of the top 20/30 goals I’ve seen for us. It probably won’t be remembered but it was a typical striker goal. Well done Brett. UTG! And surely great credit to the guy who crossed it to him. Anthony Evans? Brett barely had to move to head it. Yes, he’s become a bit of a stand out player for us recently. Let’s hope he can keep it up, I’d like to see him alongside Finley. UTG!

Barton's pulled off some decent signings in Taylor, Thomas and Taylor. So far Collins is the only real disappointment out of the younger players he signed.
Surprised nobody mentioned the towering header for our first goal given that Kilgour's "one of our own", no goalie was going to save that. A great way to celebrate is 💯 Rovers game.

I was really pleased for Alfie, and you could see what it meant to him by the way he celebrated.

Can't argue with that.

That was some header by Pitman! just think in a few years it would be disallowed for 'heading'! We seemed to have found someone who can cross a ball as well!

Yes awful in the first half, but played well in the 2nd, so let's have some credit where credits due. Starting to sound a lot like Barton now. To much bitterness becomes very corrosive. Time to relax and enjoy the ride as this team has shown potential. Top half finish I predict, and as Mansel would say.... ".... to go and you never know"

If we can can keep Bret Pitman up top and give him the right service he will score goals, he would for any team, but it easier said than done.

An excellent goal,ex sh**e striker scoring past an ex sh**e keeper to give us a late unexpected point (and make said keeper look a bit stupid) made it all the more enjoyable.

Pitman will score goals providing he gets the right service. He has done all his career. He's not very mobile (and I'm being polite) but he knows where the net is. It's the job of our other players to give him that service.
A point away from home to a higher placed team is always a good result.

Highlights, for those who haven't seen them yet. That’s got to be one of the best headers I’ve ever seen. The skill to guide that in from that angle….and the weight of the cross. Great technical ability….

Just watched the second half and Pitman put in a decent shift whereas Collins his virtually invisible, apart from his one shot on target, even though we had plenty of possession in Bradford's half. I don't get the "smash & grab" comments by the commentary team as we gave as good as we got, if not better, for the whole of the second half, it's not like we stole a point with our first shot on target to equalise. If the game had lasted 5 or 10 minutes longer we would have probably scored the winner.

Alfie's header pick e out the stingers as ollie would say, happy with a point the celebrations show we have a good team spirit.
Dust ourselves down for the next mountain ascent BlackBerry Hill, Tuesday night.

What was most pleasing was that after we conceded the second, we didn’t let our heads drop and really went for it. We look most dangerous when we can get our wide players running at the opponents. It’s our biggest strength and Evans, Nicholson, Thomas and Anderson all looked dangerous in the second half.
