I’ve seen that a few clubs have reduced their capacity to 9.999 now, even Bournemouth in the Championship. We could be one of the few clubs that increase capacity to 9,999…….🤪😀

I have heard back from Tom G on the Sutton game , he says the club are taking guidance from the health and safety advisory group and will make an announcement on COVID restrictions and requirements after the Scunthorpe game , this is to make sure there is no confusion by fans between the two games. What ever the rules are for the Sutton game are likely to cover other home games for the foreseeable future. Probably buying themselves a bit of time too until this calms down a bit!

"calms down" not much chance of that happening any time soon?

In the sense of restrictions changing and only being released not long ago so companies, businesses football clubs etc still working out what's best. More important to spend time getting it right than rushing into it and looking stupid.

Noticed 3 games off in league 2 due to Covid matches at Northampton Crawley and Swindon 9 of Saturday's fixtures in the top 4 divisions now cancelled due to Covid. With scientists predicting huge numbers of positive cases over the next couple of days / weeks, should football cancel all games over the festive period to protect players, staff and fans? Someone I know testing negative yesterday morning, felt as if going down with a cold at lunchtime took another test mid-afternoon was positive and had to leave work. Sadly probably infected his colleagues unintentionally. I wouldn't want to be on a free coach, thanks Wael, with 50 strangers anyone of whom could be carrying the virus despite a negative LFT! Let's hope this variant is as mild as South Africa's experts are predicting and we can get back to travelling to watch the Gas home and away in relative safety as soon as possible.

Noticed on Sky Sports news they are reporting 25 per cent of EFL players have not been vaccinated Why would fit and healthy young men want or need to get vaccinated for something that science says is not likely to affect them and with something that has caused more adverse reactions than ALL other vaccines COMBINED during the past 30 years?

They would need to protect there families and friends so no excuse If their friends and family are vaccinated, what is the problem? My brother and his partner have refused the vaccinations. When I last discussed this with them, they said "Well, everyone else is vaccinated now, so we don't need to'. 🥺 That's the spirit! Just as well we don't all adopt that approach.

Doesn’t next season start in July? Can’t see the EFL wanting to have a emergency break over the next few weeks if so?

Here is a little info on the VAERS data that Pirate quoted above: A video showing data collected by the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) claims that thousands of people died from receiving COVID-19 vaccines. The video, which fails to mention that anyone can report events to VAERS and that the database contains unverified information, describes reported deaths of individuals who died after receiving the vaccine as deaths caused by the vaccine, when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has so far found no evidence that vaccinations led to patient deaths. Of the 145 million COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the United States from Dec. 14, 2020 through March 29, 2021, “VAERS received 2,509 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.” Having reviewed “available clinical information including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records,” the CDC found “no evidence that vaccination contributed to patient deaths”

EFL statement:
“In the wake of recent EFL fixture postponements due to COVID-19 cases at Clubs, the EFL has also provided guidance on non-fulfilment of fixtures, confirming that Clubs will be expected to play where it has 14 players including a goalkeeper available…”
