In all seriousness I reckon that last place in the autos is up for grabs. The gap between 3rd and 7th is not big at all and there’s plenty of games in hand. Foreign travel allowed, Play off Final will be when everyone is on their first Holiday in 2 years, guaranteed.

Everyone is getting carried away about Rovers play-off prospects. The club has merely picked up points against teams in the lower end of the table, the stern test will be against more consistent top eight sides. Let's just be cautiously optimistic. After all Rovers have failed many times before in similar positions!

We can succeed this time.

Can’t vote as i think we will be mid table. Yes, we have won but the performances have not been convincing and i see more of a team being prepared for next season rather than this, dont think we are good enough in defence to get close to play off but hope i am wrong

Think our defence will let us down in the run in. Midfield and attack look very exciting.

Just full of hopeful here.

I agree about our performances but the reason I still think play offs is 1) we have a never give up attitude, so can win ugly in injury time. 2) there are not many better sides in this division 3) we have momentum

What about the 11 above us? I think some people are getting carried away after a few wins and finally a top half of the table placing. We haven't put together a sustained run yet and we haven't won our games in hand. It's all well and good to admire the better side Joey has built and applaud the current form, but all this talk of automatic promotion is pie in the sky at the moment. I'd hate for people to feel let down because we didn't board HMS Storm The League after all. That ship never sailed. And I hope no-one says winners think positively, or some other well-trodden cliche. As far as I know, nobody on this forum plays for Bristol Rovers, so it's hogwash. I will cheer on the team when I see them and celebrate a win. I won't be checking the L1 fixtures for next season yet though.

But from what i have seen, there aren't many good teams in this division. Only a couple have looked really good, most poor or just "effecient". We have the potential to be one of the best 3 or 4 looking at our squad, but it's too late for those positions. If we can be top 3 or 4 for the rest of the season, we may sneak into play offs

At last, we have a squad that put in a shift and we do look threatening doing forward and much better defensively. Some players will read what is on this forum. Of course they will. It’s human nature. My experience on the field and off is players that have a winning mentality and focus are more successful. Sunday league or Div 2 mentality matters as in life. Enjoy the run in. We’ve turned the corner. Hang on it’s going to be one hell of a ride.

Automatic promotion should be the expectation - not a stretch goal. 11 points adrift of 3rd place with 2 games in hand makes in very achievable with good management. Time for JB to make up the ground he lost in the first half of the season and give us the promotion that he promised us. We are aiming to overhaul Sutton and Northampton - hard to feel excited but hopefully we will get there.

Twenty games to go now, 60 points to play for. I can see us sneaking into the play offs.

I do hope I am proved wrong but I see us just finishing outside of the playoffs due to fragility of our defence and our attack not scoring enough goals. If Joey an sort one of those then yes we will get there.

Finley makes us tick. If he’s fit for the majority of games, we can do it. If not, that centre midfield doesn’t have quite enough.

I'm afraid after the Oldham result the bus may have a puncture or two!
