I'm afraid after the Oldham result the bus may have a puncture or two! I heard Joey drove it up to Liverpool after last night's result and all the wheels have been stolen

I'm afraid after the Oldham result the bus may have a puncture or two! I’m as disappointed as some on here that we didn’t do so well last night. I’m a bit stunned. I hope it’s a blip. Let’s see.

Hopefully just a bump in the road, first defeat for a long time, no need to panic the road could well still lead to the playoffs. UTG!

Realistic goal of play offs. Back on. Bus filling up with excited gas fans , many believing that on our day we can beat any team in this league. 7 pts behind with two games in hand. Lots to do but with tonight’s form we can be very hopeful. All aboard.

Need to be consistent. That was good, but Oldham was terrible.

Need to be consistent. That was good, but Oldham was terrible. Factually correct but very few looking back now. We learn and move forward. It’s what winners do.

Pointless platitude as always, whatever we do or do not think has no impact on what happens on the pitch, that is down the players, the manager and the coaches

Manager might read gaschat. Who knows? Thanks for your insight. Fantastic performance from gas last night. With that result I’m sure many will enjoy the day.

It seems to make him happy,so that's nice.

Just thinking, the post christmas COVID etc postponements could have gone either way, but currently they could be the extra fuel this bus needed.
Scunthorpe (A) - W Sutton (H) - W Leyton Orient (A) Crawley (A)
The orient one especially looks like a great bit of "luck". Was worried it was going to be a 5+ nil scoreline, now looking at it as a possible 3pts for us!

Port Vale - L Rochdale - W Hartlepool - W Swindon - D Scunny - W Walsall - W Sutton - D Oldham - L Mansfield - D Sutton - W
5 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses in the last ten. Can’t not love it! Another W against Stevenage would be massive.

Wasn’t it so refreshing to see Sam Findlay’s chat after game talking about the potential of this club.
“All the gaffer talks about is getting to Wembley, getting to Wembley. “
It’s a goal that Joey is drilling into the team. I felt that Sam really thought we can make it. He was excited about the future of Bristol Rovers. You could feel it.
Can you imagine the positive atmosphere in the changing room? A bunch of players with a winning mentality looking around at the quality in this squad. Talent, hard work, organisation and belief that anything is possible. Exciting times ahead.

I love managers that visualise winning in the future. Gives players something to aim at. Positive stuff. This from Bristol live today. Barton's confidence in the changing room has never waned and it has rubbed off on the players. The manager has pleaded for positivity around the club in recent weeks, with an open letter to supporters last week urging Gasheads for "no negativity" at the Mem. "It’s massive and hasn’t gone back on his word," said Sam. "I know him quite well as a person and I knew he wouldn’t go back on his word." We’ve all got aspirations to go as high as we possibly can and the players he brought to the club are all on the same page with that. We don’t settle for anything less and I don’t blame him for coming out and saying that. "He said it at Exeter (after a 4-1 defeat in August) and I saw all the tweets saying ‘Is he insane?’ "The feeling around the place feels a lot better and everyone’s pulling in the right direction and I’m sure we’ll get there. "There is a great feeling around the place with the fans, and, as the gaffer keeps saying, if the fans get on board this can be a special club. He tells us all the time in the changing rooms about selling out Wembley for the Conference play-off final. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-rovers-midfielder-how-joey-6670192

Surprised how poor Orient's recent form has been as they are now bottom of the current form, there's always the danger Kenny Jacket will get the boot before we play them if they lose heavily at Harrogate this weekend.
