Expectations have been raised by the results in Jubbly-January.
However Frightening-February may not produce such good outcomes.
Two matches against the strong Sutton United team and tough encounters, among others, with the in-form Stags and the tough Grecians lie ahead.
Sutton United are proving to be an excellent HOME side. They keep a clean sheet on a regular basis and are difficult to beat at HOME.
They have scored 13 goals and conceded 4 times while winning 8 of their last 10 HOME matches.
The results for the last TEN HOME fixtures for Sutton United are shown below.
Date Comp Team Result W / D
25/01/2022 EFL T Harrogate Town 1-0 WIN
22/01/2022 EFL 2 Northampton Town 0-0 DRAW
18/01/2022 EFL 2 Colchester United 3-2 WIN
04/01/2022 EFL T Colchester United 2-1 WIN
01/01/2022 EFL 2 Exeter City 2-1 WIN
18/12/2021 EFL 2 Harrogate Town 1-0 WIN
30/11/2021 EFL T Stevenage 0-0 DRAW
27/11/2021 EFL 2 Barrow 1-0 WIN
23/11/2021 EFL 2 Mansfield Town 2-0 WIN
09/11/2021 EFL T AFC Wimbledon 1-0 WIN
Some draws and our first 0-0 result of the 2021/22 season may not be a total disaster during a feisty and frenetic February.

They are due a loss soon then. When we played them in the cup I thought they looked average/poor and couldn't believe how high up the league they are. Since then we have improved massively and look a completely different side and I can't see us fearing anyone with the team we have and the latest additions have further strengthened us. It's just a feeling but I think we will win every week at the moment and it looks like the players and supporters think that as well.

Looks like they're due a loss. They haven't beaten anyone by more than the odd goal since November. Must be getting twitchy now

Would be very happy with 4pts from the next 2 and then the following 2 games (DWDW most likely)

Not making light of this fixture but don't think we have anything to fear going there. Harrogate had great home record when we visited and we ended that, Sutton's home fixtures have been mostly v very average teams, all depends on the day ,we have to be 'at it' in every game from now on but spurred on by a recharged fan base we can get something there.

Anyone else getting the feeling that a few above us are starting to get the jitters and are ready for us to make a final move?

Hard game, I’d take a 5-0 loss right now.

Playing with a lot more confidence now than we were a couple of months back and our players are not afraid to want the ball and keep possession, where as before they could not wait to get rid of it and confidence in any sport makes a big difference.
Sutton will be favourites but i really fancy us to get a result up there.

What Rovers supporter can't get behind that?

Ooookkaaayyyy. Just me then. Not just you Baggins. I think Swindon wil have a wobble and the COAT (crappest of all time) Garner will not have the man management skills to motivate them back into form. He will probably change the colour of the cones and employ a Feng Shui expert, but that's it.

I think we’re forgetting we’ve already beaten them this season as well.
