The Jacobson one was a random time for a loan to end! Didn’t he play in both semi finals? A certain Mr Igoe replaced him in the final. *Chris Carruthers😉 And iirc, CC was torn apart by their winger whose name escapes me without checking up in the first half hour before PT changed things a bit. UTG!

One game at a time and all that.
Although i don't think an automatic promotion place is out of the question, things can change pretty quickly.

I wasn't aware they'd changed the rules, and thought that loans finished at the end of the regulation season.
As I said it is a big ask, and reaching the play offs would be a huge achievement bearing in mind where we were a few months ago, but it's good to know where we stand if the miracle did happen.

The team to catch out of the top three is Tranmere, they have played three more games than us with an average of 1.69Ponts per game to reach that we will need to get 34 points from our last 16 games an average of 2.12 points per game that is the same that Forest Green have averaged so far this season, it is doable but will require form similar to Forest Green.

Loving the positivity and the fact that we are looking forward to the next game rather than fearing it. However, I cant help feeling that some are getting a bit carried away and in the process, inviting a kick in the teeth. I say, let’s enjoy what is happening for what it is and see where it takes us. I guess what I am really saying is, all this talk of promotion is starting to get me excited and I just don’t want to feel gutted when/if that doesn’t happen. Classic case of “it’s the hope that kills you”.

It feels like we've climbed as massive steep section of everest but it's still a way to the top and if we fall it will be a big fall!

With the run Mansfield have been on I'm not sure we are going to finish above them. I fancy Mansfield to finish above Tranmere I think. Still a long way to go though.

Mansfield have drawn their last two games and now have what appear to be 4 tough games to play, with their two first choice centre backs missing at least the next game at Bradford.
On recent form Exeter seem the team to watch, so it'll be interesting to see how they perform in our game on Saturday.

Mansfield's 2 draws have been away to us and Newport, they are still good results and keeps their long unbeaten run going. Exeter have a very good chance of going up, they are a strong side and will be difficult opposition at the mem.

Absolutely this. The run rate suggests going into the last 6 games the table will look like this: 1. FGR 2. Exeter 3. Mansfield 4. Gas 5. Northampton 6. Tranmere. We have taken a 6 point swing over the last 10 games playing 3 teams in the top 7, Swindon, Mansfield and Sutton who were 5.6 and 7th. There is a possibility to create an 8-9 point swing because we are playing 3 of the top 8 in the next 10 games who are in positions 2, 3 and 8th in the league. If we win Tuesday, teams will really start looking over their shoulder at us.

I think talk of auto's is a bit far fetched, we have controlled the last 2 games albeit against a depleted Sutton side and a poor Stevenage side.
However, the way we knocked the ball around and pressed, it's going to take a very decent opposition performance to beat us playing like that. Definitely more enjoyable to be looking up rather than over our shoulders. Enjoy the ride!

If Mansfield and Exeter keep up their form (or it doesn't drop off too much) they will take the last two automatic places. If we can beat Exeter and burst their bubble then you never know.

At the end of the day, being a football fan is largely dreaming about unrealist achievements, not about the real world, where would the fun be in that.
