Automatic?
League table indicates otherwise.
Play-offs?
Recent displays suggest a possibility.
Relegation?
SIX more points mean unlikely.

At the end of the day, being a football fan is largely dreaming about unrealist achievements, not about the real world, where would the fun be in that. Absolutely spot on. Dreaming of success and believing in better keeps the hope alive. We have a leader now that believes in this team, has personal confidence and is providing leadership that deserves success. Can’t wait for every game these days.

No reason they wouldn’t be available. Can see E Anderson loving the huge Wembley pitch! Beating Swindon 4-0 in the final will be the cherry on the cake! Can you advise, what difference does pitch size make? I think from experience footballing sides like bigger pitches? It’s confusing as 5 a side is on a small pitch but favours tight technical passing not long ball.

Going back in the late 80's, I think I remember Dennis Bailey being on loan and doing well for us but was called back and our season fizzled out ? Was a long time ago and much alcohol has been consumed so I may be wrong. Pretty sure I remember us having to win away at Port Vale or some such after he had left and we did not - Steve Yates threw his shirt into the crowd of us who were in the away end - I think

Yates gave his shirt to young lad at the front of the crowd. Bailey scored 9 in 17 for us. This was first loan. Came back for 6 games in 1991 and got 1 in 6.

16 games to go, 11 points off 3rd with 1 game in hand.
I'm sure as that the lads will be aiming for a top 3 spot.
1 game at a time.
You never know.

Loving the positivity and the fact that we are looking forward to the next game rather than fearing it. However, I cant help feeling that some are getting a bit carried away and in the process, inviting a kick in the teeth. I say, let’s enjoy what is happening for what it is and see where it takes us. I guess what I am really saying is, all this talk of promotion is starting to get me excited and I just don’t want to feel gutted when/if that doesn’t happen. Classic case of “it’s the hope that kills you”. Yeah I think we’ll make the play offs but I’d give us around a 10% chance of automatic. Not even really thinking about it when I look at the table it’s from us to 7th that I’m looking at.

Let’s get settled in the play off spots and then we will see the gap. When we win games in hand and beat some in top ten we will see where we are. When we do this the last 4/5 games will be interesting. This team is talented and one of the fittest Rovers teams I’ve seen in years. We are hitting form at the right time. We out run any team and they just can’t cope especially in last 15 minutes of games. Hope doesn’t kill me, it keeps me going. When you have no hope - what is there?

It's a big ask, but there's no harm in dreaming. You never know how the final dice may fall, how many of us had to cancel Wembley hotel rooms in 2016?

You will probably still have to watch it sat in a bar in the sun - but the League 2 Play Off Final 2022 is Saturday May 28th. Also got to play both Northampton and Tranmere. 🙏🏻 🤞🏻

Has it been said what it was for him?

Also got to play both Northampton and Tranmere. 🙏🏻 🤞🏻 if we win our next 2 games which are at home then it's a real possibility! We have to play teams above us and teams fighting for their existence and they will be just as hard to beat if not harder than the teams we are trying to catch! We look very good at the minute but our second half tonight shows we can easily get dressed down against a struggling league 2 side. I'll be honest though I can't ever remember a rovers side string together so many incredible team performances like we have in the last 3 games! Normally we talk about individual performances but this team is really showing something special 👏

79 points got 3rd spot last year.
We need 32 from a possible 45.
Big ask, but let's keep going.
Believing in this team right now.

Well our form is certainly impressive enough to suggest play offs are a distinct possibility, i just think that although possible automatic is unlikely ,too many teams to climb over imho. Regarding the playoffs an unwelcome scenario has entered my head, that is we have to play Port Vale in semi or final! there would be no divided loyalty for me but all the same i would rather it did not happen and would prefer any other team!

Swindon or Newport would be interesting ones too. Especially at Wembley. Can you imagine the carnage on the trains / M4 service stations But let's not get too carried away with ourselves just yet. A long way to go!! What is it now? 15 games left to play? 45 points to play for..
