Mansfield will run out of steam with the amount of games they need to play. Exeter will do us a favour by beating the other teams in the pack. Will be gas exeter and fgr as a s west treble That’d be pretty cool. UTG! Don't see this as a major issue for Mansfield as we have proved. They have 12 to play in ~6 weeks and four days. We've just played 13 in 6 weeks and two hours.

It’s always a bit harder at the business end of the season . I’m pretty confident already that our 7 point lead on them won’t be whittled down with their 4 games in hand . I’d rather have the points in the bank at this stage.

Interesting the last time we were promoted under DC our final game was against already relegated Dagenham & Redbridge & this season our last game is against Scunthorpe who are looking likely of having the same fate.

I know that some fixtures seem to carry more weight than others which is fair enough but from now on every single game has 3 points at stake , every one is winnable for all those involved and every one is a potential banana skin, if every game went to form you could publish the final table now and we could all relax. Thing is every game will not go to form and every team will suffer upsets ,dare i say it even Rovers, we just have to make sure that if and when the upset comes we go out and put another great run together like we have done post Oldham and Newport, all i will say is that the whole squad from JB to fringe squad players seem very focused , very grounded and utterly determined to finish the job and ensure there efforts bear fruit, come on Rovers! Very true halifax. I suspect you and I have seen too many end of seasons to think otherwise! UTG!

The parallels between ‘16 and this season are striking. A poor Autumn, ok Winter and unstoppable Spring. Also a very stable team which almost picked itself and a winning momentum. I’ve already got my Scunthorpe ticket in anticipation! UTG!

You are right, this season does seem to be following the same path & regards to tickets if I wasn’t a season ticket holder with the reduced capacity of the Mem I would certainly be looking now at buying tickets for the remaining 4 homes games especially the Scunthorpe match.

What a game that was by the way. It will be a tough run in mentally. It looks like we have all the right pieces of the puzzle in place though.

Good advice!! Just done it. Got a feeling that last home game will be squeaky bum time. It’s so tight up there (no sniggers) I reckon it may well come down to the last game. Need to be there for it!! Someone else in the family will take the ST. Not going to miss us going up!! UTG!

Feck me I didn't realise they were doing that well! Like you say though no need to fear anyone. They've lost recently to Swindon, Salford and PV, apart from beating Northampton they seem to struggle against the top 10 sides, although Paul Simpson has done a brilliant job since being appointed given they were in bottom 2 or 3 when he took over. Assuming EA is still joining up with the U21's then he'll be a big loss, I assume JB will either push Finley into his role and bring in Whelan, or just a straight swap with Thomas as I doubt Nicholson will recover in time. EA will definitely be a big miss but at least we have options even if Nicholson isn't fit. Thomas or Saunders have played there already this season, Collins could shift with either Clarke or Loft up top, Nolan may be fit or like you suggested Finley plays further forward with Whelan coming in. Whichever way we go it's nice to have decent players waiting for a chance

Top 3 finish and we will make it look easy. Everyone knew at the start of the season that a lot of players we were bringing in weren’t players that should be playing in this league. It took a long time for them to gel together but I see the fruits of our labour coming together and we will jog gently into the automatics as is our rightful place.

agree totally mate! We could easily sell their end out! Nice thought but I wouldn't mind betting that they'd restrict us to 1500 or something and say it's a recommendation from the Staffordshire Constabulary or something, just so we don't outnumber the home support.
I suspect you might have confused Vale with another club mate.
There is a less than zero chance Vale will be outnumbered at home.
'Restricted to x' is just ridiculous.

Just want to add it’s unlikely but would love to see rovers first and port vale second.
Regardless of anything else, any club manager by DC is a friend and I want them to win every game excepting us.
Let’s hope for a real class act from the fans applauding DC and being respectful at all times. Even if we lose.

Interesting game tonight - stubborn Colchester who I think still need a few wins, against FGR who are a little bit wobbly.
I think FGR will drop points.
