Interesting the last time we were promoted under DC our final game was against already relegated Dagenham & Redbridge & this season our last game is against Scunthorpe who are looking likely of having the same fate. And Rovers 39th game of that season was Carlisle away. Rovers were missing Tom Lockyer on international duty.

I hope the supporters club have booked the open top bus for 29 May.
Anyone confirm a rumour Rovers pre season camp is happening in June in Portugal?

I didn't realise Steve Evans is Stevenage manager now. They have to play Exeter, Tranmere and Mansfield still. He may not be a pretty football manager but he will certainly get them a lot more effective than Tisdale did. Hopefully can do us a favour or two.

Not sure how his attractiveness affects his manager skills. I get what you mean though

Just want to add it’s unlikely but would love to see rovers first and port vale second. Regardless of anything else, any club manager by DC is a friend and I want them to win every game excepting us. Let’s hope for a real class act from the fans applauding DC and being respectful at all times. Even if we lose.
Sadly DC won't be there, nor is he likely to be back at all this season, tragically it's that bad.
But yes, hopefully a full game of lots of support for the bloke. Vale will certainly applaud the solidarity from Rovers.

Newport have already slipped up v Hartlepool, I can't see them now taking one of the top 3 places.

Barrow have sacked Cooper and installed Phil Brown. Okay he’s been on a downward trajectory - really didn’t help Southend but who knows. A new manager bounce would really help us as Barrow play nearly all our rivals in the run in

Think we should have some T shirts made for the players to wear out in support of DC when we play them, some things are more important than football, he gave us everything and will always be welcome at the Gas and fondly remembered.

A new manager bounce would really help us as Barrow play nearly all our rivals in the run in I find it hard to believe Copper got an 8 match ban for simply asking the female assist. ref. "Do you realise it's a man's game" after she flagged to inform the ref one of his own players had suffered an head injury, I assumed he must have said something far worse to warrant such a lengthy ban.

Why would any league club appoint Phil Brown, unless they want to secure relegation?

Agree but really hoping he performs a Hull type renaissance as we could do with them beating our rivals as opposed to lying down and giving them 3 easy points

Steve Evans can turn things around with his effective lower L2 style, as he's proved before. Hopefully that means Exeter, Tranmere and Mansfield will be unpleasantly surprised when they face Stevenage.
