Next month will be crucial. Barnet travel to Grimsby, lincoln and halifax. All very difficult games especially with lincoln finding form now. We travel to Nuneaton, dartford and Woking. A winnable games for us. Also with the transfer window open, I wonder if barnet can keep their top performers? If the gap doesn't close by the end of jan then I think we will be playing for a playoff place. If you look at Dover's form that'll be a tough game for them too. I personally think Dover could get a draw, we just need to stuff Macc to make that first bit of headway.

Remember kids, we need them to drop 10 and us to drop NONE. Relatively speaking. I'd like to thinks it's doable but def theirs to lose

I think that we need a reality pill. Its only 1.5 matches since we were feeling really cheesed off after an indifferent first half against Gateshead . We have to play most of the top teams away from home and we dont have a natural finisher who can be relied to score on the break. Our chances of doing well in this league are very much dependant on us outplaying the opposition and scoring a couple of the many chances that we hope to create. I like everyonne want it to happen but I think that we are being foolish if we forget that we still have Gateshead, Macclesfield and Grimsby to play away from home. I am confident that we are good enough to put them to the sword but can we do it week in and week out? And you know what, 2 games before that we were happy we'd just come away with a point away to Wrexham having had McChrystal go in goal... And 1 game before that we were delighted with wins over Barnet and Dartford... and 1 game before that we were getting frustrated with just 1 win in 6... We get elated with a couple of wins and downright depressed when we draw a couple of games. It's ridiculous but it's the world we now live in and the circumstance of us all being on edge due to being in a crappy division. Are we good enough to do it week in week out? We've only lost 4 times, less than any other team. We are consistent and we have been doing it week in week out. Problem is, Barnet have won two thirds of their matches, which is a fantastic effort. I think what people also need to realise and take note of is that we have scored twice or more in 5 of our last 7 league matches. The goals are coming, the chances are being created and we are good enough to win every match we play.

Hopefully Maccs will be like that I don't know much about them but looking at their GD it looks as if they might be team that will sit deep and try and make things difficult today. I'd take a scrappy 1-0.

Yeah Maccs have a similar GF and GA to us. They like a 1-0 so wouldn't be surprised if today was low scoring

All we can do though is to go out and try and win every game and see where the chips land ... we can do it though.

Grimsby - Lincoln is another game where a home win isn't guaranteed.
Just got to do our job today, will help in terms of establishing a gap between ourselves and Macc, if nothing else.
