Hand brake off tomorrow got to try for a win, high press and intensity needed, so maybe get LT in for Nicho, and start Evans. After seeing a sunny Wembley yesterday, would prefer a final victory and the revenue that brings! If LT replaces SN who would you drop for Evans?

I’d rather see us lose trying to grab a late winner tomorrow as I think the difference between a draw and a win won’t hurt our playoff odds too much but the reward for a win is massive. Like others have said attack attack attack. Maybe go for it early on when they won’t be expecting it, rattle them early

Not sure this is wise though as it might make us a bit open losing Finley’s bite, but there again Evans is not shy of getting stuck in either! I personally think he will go with the same side, we shall see UTG!

The top 8 in league 1 are a cut above vale and the gas however their are also 10 current clubs both vale and gas are bigger than imo and would more than hold their own against Crewe Fleetwood Cambridge Gillingham Cheltenham Burton Accrington Shrewsbury Morecombe Wimbledon Apart from the likes of Sunderland, Ipswich etc are the others not listed like Wycombe, Oxford etc really "bigger" clubs? Do they have bigger home attendances and better training facilities, if not, then how are they considered "bigger"?

Funnily enough I didn't think Evans actually had that good a game when he came on Friday.

I would put Oxford as a bigger club than us based on history attendances and recent performance history yes. Not much in it though. Wycombe are currently better but your right not a bigger club overall.

No I would say we’re bigger clubs than them all not better. Until the dust settles on this season and leagues are settled only then will we know who’s better.

Port vale aren’t considered a small club in league one far from it there 19,000 all seated stadium also suggests there ready for the championship as well. 20,552 now mate, our fantastic new-ish owner Carol MBE has finally ordered the completion of the long unfinished Lorne Street stand.
Must be great to have an owner committed to stadium improvements!

Funnily enough I didn't think Evans actually had that good a game when he came on Friday. He certainly looked rusty. But he’s too good not to play if fit. His dead ball skills alone create chances. With him on one side and Elliot on the other it opens up the game as sides can’t double mark them both.

Listen to Radio Stoke a lot and must say she is a very positive person and clearly loves the Vale. With Stoke falling from grace and Crewe relegated it is the areas most successful club.

Our current league record's with the draw being a 0-0 v Exeter.......This great run has to end sometime and so I won't complain at a 1-1 outcome tomorrow.... I’m sure you’d be delighted with a draw. At this stage that’s all you really need. We need the win and will come for it I’m sure. I hope JB is focused on getting that, I don’t think he’ll get carried away by the love-fest going on the DC connection. COYB! UTG!

Christ we’ve got a great chance of our 7th promotion and we have one of our biggest matches for some time yet we’ve got some coming in with snide comments about the Mem. We all know it’s not the best and we have to do something about it but not sure what we, the fans can do. Have to trust in Wael which looking at what he’s done over the past 12 months or so I think I do.
Can we not just enjoy the moment?
UTG!

Been upto Vale a few times, it's actually a nice stadium in respect and I always found the locals a friendly bunch. If you like real ale you'll like the Bulls Head on St John Square, opposite the church and just down from the war memorial. Always friendly to away fans (apart from Stoke, obviously.) Barbecue out the back too. There's a local brewery called Titanic (the Captain was from SOT) who sell there. www.titanicbrewery.co.uk/product-category/our-beers/Sorry lads, was talking bollocks. Due to the 5 figure crowd expected, the Bulls Head has asked on social media that it be home fans only tomorrow to manage overcrowding. Stone is a nice little canal town about 15 mins from Vale, just off the M6 and A road; Load of nice pubs available to away fans there. There's also the village of Barlaston close by, Neil Morrissey owns the Plume of Feathers canalside in the village, apparently the food is very good. The Spotgate Inn a few miles to the east is a nice old gastropub that does a bit of a novelty thing of outside seating in 1920s train carriages.

Finley based on the fact coutts is better at controlling the game, and maybe swop them at half time or at 60 minutes. We need to win this match, I would rather go positive and lose and have a right old go. Im not arrogant but Exeter are the only side I would fear in the play offs, and they will go up automatically.
