I think it’ll be 1-1 there will be a melt down by many saying that’s autos out of our reach now. Then we’ll win Saturday and it’ll be Automatic promotion is on !! Lots of football to be played yet. Bump

Tbf I expected a draw so I'm not dissapointed, the Port Vale game is very important now moreso than this one I cant see us getting anything there when we couldnt beat a depleted Tranmere side. Football doesn't work like that, i know, but we just aren't clinical enough to get promotion imo.

Good point but still gutted . We had more than enough possession to of won that game .
Can we hold onto a play-0ff spot ? 😬

Before today's games it looked like the only way to make the auto's would be to beat PV, that's still the case but it's a big ask to win at PV.
Picking up a point/stopping Tranmere picking up 3 should now mean we make at least the play off places.

I think most of us would of taken a draw before the game.
Tranmere have a great Home record.
But we were by far the better team, the only one trying to play Football and completely dominated the game.
A shocking mistake at the back from both Taylor and Connolly, which is unlike them despite their young years, has done us, classic route one.
Signing Loft instead of a proper striker in January may come back to bite us in the arse, our approach play and the way we keep the ball is brilliant, but we just lack the composure and that killer instinct in front of goal.
We can't keep relying on Billy magic or screamers from others every week.

Good enough point but disappointed as that is the end of our top 3 hopes IMO and that was an opportunity with them having a few players out.

One things for sure, it’s going to go down to the last day! Hopefully Evans will be back next week. Our set pieces our poor without him.

Good point considering Tranny were clean through on goal to make it 2 nil only for a brilliant Belly save. So a point gained for me, 2 nil would of been game over.

One things for certain,if we don't beat Salford then we can kiss the top three goodbye, all to play for in my book, but to me were not quite good enough.

I don’t think there’s any need to be negative. Tranmere are an effective team, good at what they do but we completely outplayed them. Unfortunately we look a bit short at the moment through the middle. We did well to come back from one down with Billy’s fantastic goal. We are clearly a match for anyone in this division on our day and if we keep in this form, we will make the play offs and have as good a chance as anyone. Unbelievable turnaround considering where we were in December.

The fact we're disappointed with a point at the team with the best home record in the division shows how far we have come. Of course the two extra points would have been welcome but play offs at least is still in our own hands. Autos maybe out of reach barring us winning all 5 but if we can go into last 2 games still in play off places I think most of us would take that.

I can't understand why we just take short corners on the left and then expect EA to beat 3 defenders, when we could just put the ball in the box.

Never score any goals from our numerous corners. Not being clinical enough with all the pocession is likely why we will most probably scrape a playoff place!

If only we had a proper no9. Dominate everyone these days. Shouldn’t worry about anyone in the play offs.
