Ta be fair pal, some folk jes can’t afford a season ticket, th threat of missing out on a ticket for a big game won’t magically make th money appear 👍🏼 [br Appreciate that mate , but we haven’t had a complete sell out once this season ( to my knowledge) where was everyone then , just think how much more revenue we’d receive if all these extra fans attended every home game not just when we have a big game. No problem with yer comments pal, of course a winning team/promotion contenders will always sell more tickets, that’s footy for yous, th same as we’ll sell more season tickets on th back of it. I jes feel for folks who get told ta buy a season ticket when they jes can’t afford one. Some kids are sat at home longing ta watch their favourite team , but their parents jes can’t justify th cash. I think th divide between th haves an th have nots is getting bigger. (IMO)

Controversial I know but people have had weeks to source tickets , hopefully this will encourage more people to renew / purchase a season ticket for future seasons. I agree to some extent, however the club could have a better system in place, like other clubs do. They should have a window where tickets go to flexi ticket holders and members first. That way, the club will make more money and it will reward three fans that attend 5-10 games, but can't afford a season ticket. Plus it will boost the attendance, when we are doing poorly. As if they have already paid for 5 or 10 games, they will still have to attend some anyway, as they have already paid. Just putting tickets on sell, with no announcement, is not very good. We have a system for away games and home cup games, why not all home games???

Pile of sh**e.
After numerous mentions on official rovers page on twitter, that users should pin the page so as not to miss the ticket release...
They announce the tickets are out, I then go into the ticket site which I had left myself to logged into, they had already gone. There's no way 500 people got tickets ahead of me after the tweet.
I now find out that they went on sale about 30 mins before, no announcement from the club, it was actually announced by whatever unofficial rovers Facebook page it happened to be.
To add insult the club then state that they sold out in 1 min whatever secs.
Pathetic.

Where were all these people wanting tickets when we were sh*te earlier this season? Was nice and comfortable on the East Terrace back then 😁 if you had someone who was 6’9 stand in front you just shifted about a little 😁 In all seriousness if the club didn’t know they needed a new stadium they bloody well do now!

More popular than Glastonbury tickets ! Remember folks this is a big game so No flares No dancing No Pitch invasions No taunting Scunthorpe fans No drinking before match No cash so contactless cards No swearing No swearing at Stewards No aggressive behaviour towards ticket staff No singing about the IRA No getting anxious checking phone for scores every 2 mins Just relax put on your shorts, flip flops, wear your favourite gas shirt and park sensibly around the stadium and please leave me a big space for me to park near the Welly. What do you think this is? Cricket?

Where were all these people wanting tickets when we were sh*te earlier this season? Playing football on a Saturday is one demographic, or doing anything rather than following Rovers when we needed them most. It's always been the same in my experience, I've always seemed to have known 3 times as many so called Gasheads who never or barely attend than hardcore regulars, AKA the 'Goodnight Eileen brigade', always turning up at previous Wembley appearances. Really feel for a good pal of mine who has been to almost every home game all season, he has had a rough time with his young niece being refused much needed heart surgery at the last minute. I've said come down anyway because you never know there could be someone floating around with a spare ticket or two for him and his son.

The club will be sending the tickets out I assume by email at this point. Small chance they’ll be firing off 50 to the same geezer if they’ve tried to pull a fast one.
And as said above, they’ve been on sale for months🤷🏻♂️

Controversial I know but people have had weeks to source tickets , hopefully this will encourage more people to renew / purchase a season ticket for future seasons. I’m kind of with you on that. I have a SC but have a friend who I thought might want to go so I bought an extra ticket at the end of March suspecting this might be an important game. They were on general sale then and there were loads left (as I expect had been the case for weeks). Appreciate that some people’s circumstances will have changed in recent weeks (perhaps previously they didn’t think they could attend but now can), but it had been easy to get tickets for ages (same for the FGR and Salford games). Not a poplar view though I’m sure!

Can we just stop with this nonsense asking why we’re selling out now , part timers turning up , glory hunters etc etc
It’s bloody OBVIOUS that such a big game will result in every man , woman and their dog wanting to go . Not every fan goes to every home game , I’ve got a season ticket but I’ve missed a couple for various reasons but I won’t miss this game for the blatant OBVIOUS Reason!
If you go to one game every other year or every game you’ve as much right to get a ticket as anyone else .

Strongly disagree on that last line. & I think it’s merely those who are chucking their toys out the pram about not being able to get a ticket, when they’ve barely been all season. I mean, what possible leg do they have to stand on? Missing out, unfortunate, but getting narky about it? Behave😂

Where were all these people wanting tickets when we were sh*te earlier this season? Spending time with the 2 little ones which is more important nowadays for me. Not going to apologise for that. I still financially support the club and a season ticket holder for many years.

A friend of mine works with disadvantaged families, and a few weeks ago she arranged for a young lad to attend a Rovers home game, he had never been to a live match before, and couldn't believe that he was actually going. He was mesmerised when he arrived at the ground, and then into the stadium, seeing real live players on the pitch - something we take for granted, but it will be a very special memory to him forever.

Everyone else takes their chance I’m afraid and as Big Jock pointed out lots of people can’t afford to join the above and have to take their chances

Wonder if there were any limits on purchases? Don't you need a membership number for every ticket you buy? Pretty sure I had to register my Mrs/Dad/etc when I got them tickets - even though it was General Sale. Unless that has changed now?

Someone who isn’t an STH but does majority home games and a good dozen away games, is by far and away more deserving of the Scunny date than someone who fancies it for their first match of the season.
