Know some people who have tickets for the game for a Bristol stag do. Coming from all over the country and beyond. Another mate had a stag do last weekend in Manchester and had 10 tickets for Salford v Mansfield then the game got moved to the Monday. Planning eh. You win some, you lose some.

If you haven't got a ticket get yourself to Barrow to cheer on the Bluebirds. Pity it's a 500 round trip. Barrow Gurney isn’t too far from the airport in alternative.

There’s a cost of living crisis ….. have you heard ? . Unfortunately yes, very much so, but you cut out visits to the pub, pay monthly and go without in other areas. Fully understand the COLC more than you will ever know. But people moaning about not getting a ticket, season ticket or not - plan ahead, as people have already said, tickets for this game were on sale for a long time. No offence meant, but that’s how it is. I have mates who think nothing of spending £100-£200 on a Saturday night out, I prefer to watch the Gas and not P money up a wall

I know a few regulars who didn't get tickets. These are people who followed the twitter instructions. There's a chance that a few of these tickets went to people who logged in by pure chance whereas those who follow the club religiously lost out. That's wrong. Some people can't have STs due to other commitments

Sorry but I strongly disagree! 😂 You only get preferential treatment if you’ve got a season ticket , supporters club member or share scheme member or whatever it is ? Everyone else takes their chance I’m afraid and as Big Jock pointed out lots of people can’t afford to join the above and have to take their chances Indeed but you are talking about deserving, not priority. Someone who isn’t an STH but does majority home games and a good dozen away games, is by far and away more deserving of the Scunny date than someone who fancies it for their first match of the season. I have some sympathy with you, but I’ve been to 50% of home games and majority of away as living in Cheshire. However for this game taking my Daughter, which will be her 2nd game this season. Bought them in March when plenty available, because I thought if I want to convert her to a true gas head she needs to be part of an electric atmosphere and just had a feeling this would be it. You could have done the same. Just a bit of planning required and if we want new fans they need to get the buzz.

Pile of sh**e. After numerous mentions on official rovers page on twitter, that users should pin the page so as not to miss the ticket release... They announce the tickets are out, I then go into the ticket site which I had left myself to logged into, they had already gone. There's no way 500 people got tickets ahead of me after the tweet. I now find out that they went on sale about 30 mins before, no announcement from the club, it was actually announced by whatever unofficial rovers Facebook page it happened to be. To add insult the club then state that they sold out in 1 min whatever secs. Pathetic. I happened by chance to be online when the tweet went out and was logged into my account so clicked within seconds. I genuinely don’t believe 500 people were quicker than me. If they went on sale beforehand and this was disclosed via some fb group then I feel sorry for those that missed out. Luckily I already have a ticket and this was for a family member so not the end of the world but if I had missed out under the same circumstances I would be a bit peed off with the process!

It was a hypothetical example. I do hope your young un has the best time and is instantly hooked like many junior Gasheads seem to have been this season! Future of the club right there

Tickets were on general release ages ago. It was always going to sell out eventually, people had enough opportunity to get one tbh

And now we face the very real possibility of mindless morons ‘jibbing’ into the ground Saturday, like so many did at the Euro final.
I hope the top brass have all the security sorted and bolstered.

As has been said. tickets went on sale for this game in March. I believe we held back some tickets for the east away terrace until we knew what allocation Scunthorpe would sell, hence todays release of 500 and some South stand seats. Hard to see what the club could do here, was always going to be high demand, even more so after the long weekends results. The club membership scheme with its benefits was widely advertised on the club site with priority for match tickets etc and is free to ST holders and can also be purchased as far as I am aware for non ST holders.

Why do so many people assume those who can’t afford things spend their time in the pub. 😔

As the game is now confirmed as a sell out & due to it’s importance it would be good if ifollow could be allowed for viewing in this country as a special case. I know it’s not like being in the ground but a lot of people would be happy to at least be able to watch the game live through various media modes & may help stop people profiting from reselling tickets & others turning up without tickets.

I doubt iFollow will change the rules just for one L2 match, although I'm not sure they could w/o breaking the 3pm "blackout" even if they wanted to.

The EFL has granted Port Vale permission for a beamback of their game at Exeter which is a 3pm ko so I don’t really see the difference.
