Bristol World are reporting that we've been reported to the FA following the pitch invasion seems like one of their players might have been punched?

Stupid pricks.
It has been mentioned on here before and some want to make excuses for these idiots.
Really, how hard is it to stay off of the pitch?
Find them and ban them.

I still don't understand the objective or benefit of running onto the pitch after the seventh goal... like, what are you gaining? You're holding up the game, 'endangering' the players/referee, interrupting our momentum... all in the name of "limbs"

No idea what happened or didnt but arent these things reported as standard procedure? I think so but if there was a punch thrown at one of their players it might change things, really really hoping it won't, just worried.

What are you worried about as you won't be asked to pay a fine if it comes to the worse but the chances are the club just be warned about fans future conduct.

You would think that even the meanest intelligence could grasp that running onto the pitch during the game runs the risk of the game being abandoned (although I believe that once so many minutes have been played the result stands) or of retrospective punishment. Which could mean the hard won promotion being snatched away. I suppose that to those with not much between their ears though making an exhibition of oneself overrides any such consideration.

In such a moment of sheer unbridled joy, is it likely someone’s ran on and sparked the teenage keeper in the chops? Realllly?
A piece of unintentional contact perhaps? Arms flung everywhere in a melee of premature to##ers going onto the hallowed turf?
Let’s see what any footage has to say. Not worried in the slightest about any ‘punishment’.

Id be interested to know their mindset, having been watching football for 40 years and never had it cross my mind.

The club needs to root out the nasties. We've obviously had people invading the pitch after goals (ok at the end of the match after a promotion but any other time unacceptable IMO), reports of a 'supporter' assaulting members of the public on Gloucester Road, and the Scunny keeper. A 'supporter' being booted out for racism aimed at a Scunny supporter.
Taints our promotion and our image. The pitch invasion after the goal could have also cost our promotion.
Give those invading the pitch a long timeout to think about their actions and kick those behind the other misdemeanours out for good.

A points deduction would be. Can you be absolutely sure that that won't be the case? I bloody well hope it won't.

Yes, I suppose a good barrister, QC, could make a convincing case out of that.

Funnily enough some clown in front of me (standing behind the Home dugout) tried to do that at the time. He was roundly shouted down.

It would mess up all of this if they deduct points, and be far too harsh to bump us down to 8th. They'd be saying that fans aren't allowed to get over excited about their team. This kind of thing happens somewhere every season (not the 7-0). A fine either to pay or suspended is the worst we can expect.
