Yes that's crazy. Also, many younger Gasheads won't even remember that it used to happen on a regular basis. Happy days, and even happier nights! UTG

Was with my Dad that night. I will never forget it, not just for the game and Beatles superb finishing but having to witness my Dad getting decked in an unprovoked attack on the way out. I had Rovers colours on he didn’t. We were right behind that late Beasley goal, what a finish.

I can find no record of Beatles or Beasley playing for Rovers. My records must be deficient.

I was there, remember it well! Rearranged to an evening ko because of a big freeze in January.
Daft decision not to go all ticket, gates were forced in both ends and the ground was well over capacity. Gasheads stood in all the isles and gangways but we got away with it.
City mate went in behind the Dolman, gate to side to turnstiles forced open by sheer pressure of the crush. Said his feet were hardly touching the ground and he was going through that gate whether he wanted to or not! Scary stuff!
What a result though…Duckmoor Road was carnage after the game 😡

22 years, nothing between us back then on the pitch at least, they are so lucky to have got steve lansdown when they did,but happy memories. Sadly if we ever played them again it won't be the same, early kick off, limited ticket allocation and heavy policing etc.

I was a at the game as a kid, they beat us 3-0 down ashton about 84/85. I was also at the game a few weeks later we beat them 3-1 in the fa cup down ashton. And I was at the louis donowa game which was a very difficult loss to take.

Now it would be flares 1 nil down 3-1 up we not city out the Cup..... That was an era of pure joy, many a game belting out 'will you ever beat the gas'

I always remember thinking devon white should of stayed on his feet and not went down for the penalty. I was 15 and had to go back to school in south Bristol the next day . Absolute Nightmare 😂

May have been out the league, but we can soon file this one next too never been liquidated, never had to reform as an LTD company & never had a points deduction for being financially *ed.
