There won't be enough season tickets if Rovers were to have another promotion to the Championship. At least that is what I am assuming.

If clubs make more money on supporters who pay on a game-to-game basis, why bother with season tickets?

If clubs make more money on supporters who pay on a game-to-game basis, why bother with season tickets? Guaranteed cash flow. Obvious really.

Good evening everyone. This is what you have all been waiting for, the most comprehensive set of figures on S/T sales to be found on any Rovers forum. Even better than the club! So here we go: West Stand (408) sold 408 East Stand (1,024) sold 1,024 SW Stand (392) sold 383 West Terrace (1,130) sold 845 Family terrace (618) sold 338 Thatchers North Terrace (3,095) sold 2,366 East Terrace (1,487) sold 908 So total S/T’s sold 6,272, 77% of availability. Since my last update on 9th June we have sold an average of 15 S/T’s per day.

Just under 5000 sold then according to the club release this morning. Was hoping we’d sell 6k this year after last season.

As always, the best way to secure a ticket for every game and get the best value is to secure a Season Ticket for the coming season.
Bright added: "The uptake in Season Ticket holders has blown us away ahead of the new season. Last year, we had 3,900 and right now we are just under the 5,000 figure. Our highest as a club was in the 2015/16 season when we hit 5,056 and we are very close to that number - it would be great to make 2022/23 the season we set that record.
"We understand that some fans became frustrated at the end of the season last year when they couldn’t get a ticket, having attended many of the games prior to that. We urge as many as possible to secure a Season Ticket and take advantage of the value it offers."

According to his figures we have sold around 1300 less than what you are quoting. Appreciate your efforts, but I'm inclined to believe the club.

Crap football in modern facilities, or exciting football in sub standard facilities - I know which one I'd choose. Obviously the long-term aim is to get the exciting football placed in a decent stadium, although that doesn't seem to have stopped people buying a season ticket for the first time, or buying one after having several seasons away from The Mem.

The difference is for the other spaces taken such as staff, volunteers, wives and girlfriends, agents, media, friends, youth team, CT, St John's Ambulance, scouts etc, etc Would never have guessed it was that many though.

Not sure any of them have Season Tickets. Whatever, start well and we'll pretty much sell out every home game and no doubt, yet again, we'll travel in numbers to the away fixtures.

I doubt if the head of sales has counted the dots as many times as I have! Seriously though the club could easily publish the S/T sales for each section of the ground and in particular confirm the very limited availability of seats (only in the SW stand).

If you go on the Rovers website and try to but tickets for the first 3 home games there is no availability in the West and East stands and just a handful in the SW stand.
