Looking at the online ticket plan, it’s showing that the thatchers end is sold out for the FGR match so probably the reason why you can’t purchase a season ticket for that area at the moment. Probably worth giving the clubshop a call as I am sure you will be able to purchase one for the remaining matches after the FGR game. I wonder if the club have planned for this eventuality, as how are they now going to sell season tickets if you can't watch the first home match and most likely the second pretty soon? Although no need to worry as Chippenhamgas claims there are plenty of tickets still available. There are for Oxford. The blue dots indicate availability yeah?

I guess it comes down to what is considered is good availability, not sure you'd class virtually no stand seats and limited west terrace tickets good, if you didn't want to stand behind the goal or on the uncovered terracing.

Those areas make up more than half of the capacity! The Oxford game is almost 6 weeks away. A lot of people don't buy single match tickets that far in advance, and some will have to wait for the July pay packet to land in their bank before buying tickets for matches in August.

Does anyone know if you can buy a season ticket at the club shop or do you have to do it online ? I’m going around in circles on the website

Plus ticket prices were only announced this week so it seems likely they've only been on sale for a few days.
You sense ChippenhamGas is hoping that season ticket sales now top out at 5K or so and we don't get anywhere near sell outs for our first two games. Then he can post that sales are disappointing due to Wael not confirming any new stadium plans.

FGR are selling tickets but I do not know what allocation they have. Oxford do not sell tickets for away matches until 2 to 3 weeks before the game. Again I do not know what allocation they will have. Indications are that we will sell out for the the first 2 games. If we start well then every home game is going to be a sell out. I might have got the figures wrong but the trend in ticket sales remains high.

Bright added: "The uptake in Season Ticket holders has blown us away ahead of the new season. Last year, we had 3,900 and right now we are just under the 5,000 figure. Our highest as a club was in the 2015/16 season when we hit 5,056 and we are very close to that number - it would be great to make 2022/23 the season we set that record.
There’s the answer to everyone’s question

What was the best at the Mem under Ollie, Trolls or DC? - even under those managers, I can't remember such a general feel good factor around the club as Waels investment has generated.

Well surely wael will have to make a rare reference to stadium plans this week?!

Surely we had more at Eastville when we regularly had attendances over 20K in the 70's, it's not like s/t's are a recent development. Although it's probably the highest since Eastville's demise.

That's an interesting point. I don't know, but given that pay on the prices are much higher in real terms than they were in the Eastville days, maybe we didn't sell so many season tickets back then. Paying at the turnstile was quite affordable, and also credit facilities for a ST were harder for the average working person in those days.

Season tickets weren’t really that popular back in the days of Eastville, not just at Rovers but pretty much everywhere. People had them for seats but not the terraces.

Season ticket sales now limited to family and east terrace only.. Rovers are keeping back a % of tickets for general sale.
