Either Rovers are not playing ball with the level of S/T sales or they have moved the goal posts!!!

If you go on the Rovers website and try to but tickets for the first 3 home games there is no availability in the West and East stands and just a handful in the SW stand. Which is hardly surprising as even during your average seasons it's hard to get a seat in those two stands? I'd imagine they'll be very few seats available for most games. unless the club withhold sales in the SW stand specifically so there are still some available for individual matches.

Only 3 seats left in SW stand to purchase as season tickets.

After undertaking further investigations I think I can see why there is a difference between my figures for S/T sales and the club. Looking at the dots, which are unavailable, a layman like myself would make the assumption that they had been sold. This is not the case because for instance wheelchair spaces appear to be available only on a match by match basis. Looking at the SW stand there are 3 seats left to purchase as S/T’s but if you look at the same area for individual matches there are up to 8 seats available and 8 wheelchair slots. I presume that such differences exist in all areas of the ground and has led to such a large difference between my figures and the clubs. I apologise for cocking it up. It was not my intention to mislead, just to be helpful and interesting.

It was not my intention to mislead, just to be helpful and interesting. The arrangements for Tickets are far from straightforward in 2022/23 In the season ahead tickets MAY or MAY NOT be available for The Brunel South Stand (capacity 801) and/or The Population Insulation Terrace 3 (capacity 727). It's not clear just yet how this will be managed and communicated but it is likely to be on a match by match basis. Apart from the Brunel South Stand availability, on occasions, the only seats that may be available are a few wheelchair seats. As of Saturday 2nd July 2022 it looks like the following is the TICKET AVAILABILITY situation for the season ahead MKJ STAND = probably zero. SOMERLAP WEST TERRACE = about 85 tickets. COUNTY CONTRACTORS TERRACE = about 235 tickets. THATCHERS NORTH TERRACE = about 110 tickets. POPLAR INSULATION TERRACE = about 550 tickets. N. B. There are still as many as 4 weeks left to sell season tickets. The TICKET AVAILABILITY numbers will continue to reduce. There are no plans to take season tickets off sale at present. Some sections of the ground may well sell out. Thatchers? West Standing? gasonthemount - You may not realise the full impact of your monitoring but you have done a first class job of boosting season ticket sales. There will definitely be a record set this year. The latest boost to sales is unusual. Both the West Standing and the North Terrace are selling rapidly. There are going to be many disappointed fans this season. East terrace is likely to be the place that casual pay on the day supporters end up. I'm going to get two extra season tickets this week. Otherwise I might end up as Billy No Mates.

Thank you Sir Trevor for your comments. I notice that one of the 3 sections for the Thatchers North Terrace has been greyed out. Without mentioning any figures I leave people to draw their own conclusions. S/T’s continue to be sold and availability is reducing quite quickly.

We have sold 5000 season tickets and have a capacity of 10500, with probably 1k for away fans, just have to look at the map for the Oxford game to see there's plenty of availability.

All this seems small figures compared to Ipswich Town's 16000 season tickets sold so far!!

For the last 20 odd years I have been buying tickets in the East Stand and in that time have only been unable to get a ticket there for the D/R match in ‘16. Yesterday I was unable to buy one there for any of the first 3 matches and bought them in the East Enclosure. No problem but it goes against what you’ve said insofar as during the average season it hasn’t been difficult to get one there. This season looks like it’s going to be different which has to be good for BRFC, lots of large crowds. UTG!

Port Vale also passing the 5000 ST mark. Pretty good considering their average home attendance last season was 6100

There's plenty of availability but nothing like what you'd normally expect, particularly when match day tickets only went on sale late last week, so the bulk of the grey dots showing tickets sold must be season ticket sales.

For Oxford there are a total of just 8 seats available in the entire ground, all individual. Not sure why that’s seen as “plenty of availability”. There are a fair amount of terrace spaces available but certainly looks like considerably over half is sold which would be more than the 5k ST’s and even if the sales matched the 1k FGR sales from day one Id expect it to have more availability for a 10.5k capacity now. We shall see.

I can’t buy season tickets online for thatchers even though it says there is availability. Does anyone know if we can still buy a season ticket from the club shop these days ? Thanks.

Looking at the online ticket plan, it’s showing that the thatchers end is sold out for the FGR match so probably the reason why you can’t purchase a season ticket for that area at the moment. Probably worth giving the clubshop a call as I am sure you will be able to purchase one for the remaining matches after the FGR game.

Good to see the feel good factor continuing from the 2nd half of last season. Thatcher's End sold out for FGR 4 weeks before the game, all seating gone and I imagine the other areas will be sold out soon. Hundred's attend the first friendly of the season The club shop was reporting brisk business in the selling of the new training wear range Find myself wishing my life away, can't wait for 30th July when we start 'officially' all over again

I wonder if the club have planned for this eventuality, as how are they now going to sell season tickets if you can't watch the first home match and most likely the second pretty soon? Although no need to worry as Chippenhamgas claims there are plenty of tickets still available.
