I wonder if it’s anything to do with ‘selling’ your ticket if u can’t attend? The club mentioned that a couple of weeks back.

I have checked my account history tonight and have found an additional 'purchase' made today. It is labelled as a ' Digital Test 'at nil cost and simply replicates the seat number details which were shown on my original purchase in April. Not sure what all this means but something is happening!

And my ' Next Game ' is showing as 27th August - so no Oxford Utd on 13th then! Given that Pete Weymouth has advised that tickets should be issued by the end of this week, I think I will wait to see what turns up.
Tilly - you might want to make direct contact with Pete as soon as.

I wonder if it’s anything to do with ‘selling’ your ticket if u can’t attend? The club mentioned that a couple of weeks back. Possibly, hence the odd reference to West Ham in the explanatory email from the club, and also why tickets are only going to be sent out game by game?

Have used E-tickets in Munich, Oslo, even Bromley (FA Cup replay 2019) and a few weeks ago at Melksham. Receive email days before the game, download to apple wallet, scan the barcode at turnstile, jobs a good un!
Cracking from the Gas, if I didn’t have an ST card from last season to reuse I’d be right on board with this. And this is someone whose a bit of a ticket stub collector! Rovers rocking into the 21st century even further

I think the West Ham reference is aimed at if it’s good enough for them it’s good enough for us !!!

I wonder if it’s anything to do with ‘selling’ your ticket if u can’t attend? The club mentioned that a couple of weeks back. It sounds like this might be the reason. They could then sell the tickets that the season ticket holders cannot use. It makes sense from this perspective. I would be watered off if I had to do this admin before every game.

I’ve renewed My season ticket in the Thatchers but I’ve got a different location. Does this mean my card will be void & I’ll have to use/wait for an e-ticket from the club for each game ??
Confused by the heat !!!

If this is to make unwanted tickets easier to sell on/redistribute then so be it. Bit farcical how they say one thing then change their minds though. Not sure the West Ham comment gives me confidence though. They have an all seater stadium with pretty much fixed seats. We're promoting this the same day that people with booked tickets are being moved around. Thankful I have a ST card. A hell of a lot easier and quicker for me to use the card then find an email in my phone. (Hand dexterity issues, not anti technology) I've seen a lot of queues with people searching various apps on phones until they find the ticket.

''....make sure you've got your wallet when you leave the house.....'' yes....but at some point you will have to be organised enough to make sure you've got money in said wallet, and have been, or will need to go, to bank/ATM {as you sound like a cash-eer}

Maybe I'm a dullard, I don't have an Apple Pay Wallet - I think I'll print the tickets as I'm not great with the phone stuff.

I am sure you could use the email ticket on your phone to get in.

So I had a season card last season but I’ve moved from thatchers to the west terrace which now means my card is invalid. I now have to change to this e-ticket system that I’m not a fan of.
