I tentively went with the e-ticket option, and it worked fine - I'm feeling so 21st century! Very poor show with the catering by the sound of it - need some better Bright ideas to get things sorted. I get the pun but surely all we need to do is get more food ordered, can it really be that difficult? Absolutely - sounds like a total schoolboy error, considering that the game was sold out well in advance.

All 6 of us got in OK for our new seats in the SW stand. Plenty of pasties and pies available. Only annoyance no programmes or 50/50 for Sale in this area of the ground.

We have three season tickets moved from south stand and all three cards did not work despite being told we cannot have new cards and our old season tickets would be reactivated. Luckily I had printed out the emails to say that we had paid and the turnstile man let us in sense prevailed. Next problem then going to sit down the lady stewared wanted to see our tickets obviously wrong stand and seat number. After a conversation she said we could go up to the seats. Half time two went out to use the toilets and we had to go through the same issue again can we see your tickets! If another more experienced steward hadn't been there I actually believe we would not have been let back up to our seats. If we have to do this every home game it will be very tiresome. I am not sure how to get this resolved.

My e season tickets worked a treat. Got a message from my phone an hour before the game. Clicked it, ticket came up and worked. Really like the idea. Just for a bit of balance. Oh yeah, no issue with that and I got in with my ‘cancelled’ e-ticket. The problem is that the club had clearly stated that existing cards would be reactivated and not all were. If you went in the knowledge that your card was fine and did not have the back up of an e-ticket, it clearly becomes a problem.

Whilst many got in fine, many had troubles too.
We’ve been doing this since 1883 so you think we’d have nailed it by now.
We’ve had digital ticketing since something like 2017
Why is this still so hard for the club to get right?
There’s a load of bluster about improvements to ticketing but there seems to be more problems these days than there were 5 years ago. That’s not progress, that’s going backwards.
If there’s problems after a change of supplier that makes you question said change of supplier.

The partnership with Ticketmaster has been a disaster from day one - I’m sure the club will be fuming after being let down on this one, presumably after Ticketmaster told them everything was fixed. One let down too many and time to change next season? Take it back ‘in house’?

The club clearly hadn't proactively tested what was supposed to happen otherwise they would have flagged issues sooner. Easy to blame Ticketmaster, but its a two way thing.
