About a 200 person queue for the ticket desks at the moment. Half the season tickets don’t seem to be working.

Steward was asking if we had e-tickets at the turnstile. We don’t as weren’t sent any. Thankfully, our cards worked but loads aren’t. I can see either the gates being opened just after 3 or the kuck-off delayed.

I didn’t bother getting anything today because of the ridiculous queue. I’m sure many others were the same. There’s a lot of talk of modernising, becoming more professional, optimising revenue streams. But it’s pretty basic, if you don’t staff the huts enough to serve people they won’t bother.

But it’s pretty basic, if you don’t staff the huts enough to serve people they won’t bother. If you wanted a drink and a hotdog you had to first queue for 20 minutes at the patsy stall for your drink and then go and join the queue at the hotdog stall (who despite their sign saying in large letters ‘drinks’ were never selling them in the first place). I’ve never seen queues like that and that was just before 2pm. Most of the food had sold out before ko. One of the staff said they didn’t have enough food to open the second stall - a good start on day one for the new supplier. I arrived before 2pm and still had my e-ticket email from a few weeks ago which enabled me to get through the turnstile. There were already huge queues at the ticket office at this point and I can’t imagine they got better. It was almost inevitable that a sh** performance and defeat would follow🙁

So the first email said I had been sent an e ticket. Second email said e ticket cancelled. Third email said season card reactivated so use that. Arrived at 1.30, guess what? Season card didn't work, told to join queue at the ticket office. 50 minutes later given a paper ticket. Asked if season card will be ok for Oxford? No idea. Great way for the Club to welcome back loyal fans. Shambles off and on the pitch.

How long are the club going to let them keep making mugs of them? Will there be a breach of contract for failing to deliver the agreed service two seasons in a row?

My e season tickets worked a treat. Got a message from my phone an hour before the game. Clicked it, ticket came up and worked. Really like the idea. Just for a bit of balance.

Totally agree Eric, I think now is the time for the club to say this is one too many times now to ticketdisaster. Like the other posters who have mentioned it my season card didn’t work despite assurances it would. Luckily still had my ‘cancelled’ e ticket on hand which got me in. Clearly others weren’t so lucky.

Presumably we’ll get an email this week saying everything is being fixed but we will all turn up with zero confidence it will work!

My season card renewed from last season worked perfectly. Not sure why there is inconsistency with some working and some not. The guys I sit next to had no problem either.

Don’t like criticising the club but today we got to the turnstiles & both mine & my sons existing season tickets didn’t work, but lucky enough I had printed out the e-tickets even though the club put out a statement saying it wasn’t required. Then at 2 o’clock the refreshment kiosk on the east terrace had run out of pasties & at half-time they had basically ran out of everything which is pretty bad planning when they have known for weeks the match was a sellout & had plenty of time to order in sufficient amount of stock. Keep reading tweets from TG on what a great team he has around him, but today certainly didn’t feel like it.

Well, my card didn’t work! 😂 Nor mine, it was a new one to replace south stand ST ( despite me saying I was happy to have E tickets)

I tentively went with the e-ticket option, and it worked fine - I'm feeling so 21st century! Very poor show with the catering by the sound of it - need some better Bright ideas to get things sorted.

No surprise really that my season card didn't work after I was sent an e-ticket I didn't request or need, but my other two family members, who hadn't received e-tickets, cards still worked.
As others have suggested hot food was in short supply, even though the club has known for weeks the match was going to be a sell out.
We're really no more professional under TG than we were under NH & co, we just probably pay the staff far bigger salaries.

I get the pun but surely all we need to do is get more food ordered, can it really be that difficult?
