Very good point! Always good to be organised, have that bad boy ready to go in the ol’ apple wallet 🙌🏻 Something new but people will get used to it. It’s the only method of entry at West Ham (took in 8 games last season) and everyone there manages perfectly. They’ve got more over 60’s than a Cliff Richard gig! But did you attend the first few matches when fans had to find their "wallets" for the first time? It's bad enough standing behind, older fans, trying to find the cards, watching them searching for their "wallets" then the right match e-ticket on their mobile phones will be an all new game. Google's now adding to the chaos by renaming Google Pay to Google Wallet! It’s an annoyance of mine as well, not just older people might I add but anyone. Not having ticket/ST in hand ready before you get to the door, just basic common sense😫😄

Better than that, if you download the QR (pass as defined in Google Pay wallet)) in the secure environment of your home router, it's done and ready to use. That may not be the same if you try to download the QR Code in a mobile environment at the ground. Why not, unless you use a dodgy WiFi connection at the ground then an EE etc mobile connection is just as secure as your home WiFi, possibly more secure. Athough I doubt many hackers are really interested in Mem tickets, unless the world has really gone mad. It's not just about security, it's about getting a data connection in a mobile environment. Unless your SIM and phone supports 5G then WiFi at home to download the QR Code to your software wallet is always going to be quicker and more reliable.

Google's now adding to the chaos by renaming Google Pay to Google Wallet! How condescending. As an "Older" user I can find my various cards quite easily thank you very much. And the new, updated "Google Wallet" is very easy to use. Having pinned it to my home screen I opened it and guess what? My clearly labelled "expired" passes (read tickets) were still in there. Why anybody wouldn't download this season's passes at home before they leave for a game is beyond me.

I was sure that the statement on Friday said we would receive an email, that the club wanted us to return by Monday, choosing our preference between e-tickets and a card.
I haven’t received an email.
So, has anyone received the email? Did I read it wrong?

"All those new Season Ticket holders who do not have a card yet, will receive an e-mail today (Friday) offering them a season card or E-Season Tickets"
That seems quite clear?

Well I thought so too but… I haven’t had an email and neither have people I know.
Maybe because I’m not a new season ticket holder but have just moved stand - may be that this has been somehow overlooked.

If you care to read the club statement, you will see that existing ST holders who have been moved to another part of the ground can use there existing ST as the information will be uploaded.

Problem is there's no way of checking that's the case until you turn up at the turnstile on Saturday Whats the problem! We have never known our tickets will work since they were introduced. The club has clearly stated in Fridays statement on twitter and the club site that all ST holders from last season including those who have changed location have had their cards loaded onto the system. Therefore they will work at the turnstiles next Saturday. If the people I mention are not confident that there tickets will work, just take along your proof purchase email/receipt as well.

I had an email from Tom Gorringe and Pete Weymouth on Friday evening, confirming that all season ticket holders who had renewed would have their season cards renewed for FGR and all e-tickets sent out for FG would be cancelled. So I'm just rocking up with my season card and, if it doesn't work, I'll show the guys on the turnstiles the e-mail on my phone!! 🤣🤣

I have eticket on my mobile,on pdf (whatever that is?)
I got it photo copied at Eastville Tesco too.
I'll try to get in using the mobile first, but have the printed version if that fails.
So if the pdf mobile works,I won't bother printing a version in future.
The machine will not defeat me and if it does,I'll cry!

Front page of the EP. Gasheads reject modern technology and progress, fully stuck in the past. Embarrassing The evil post being muppets as usual. State fans weren't happy but club admits there was a flaw in the system. If there is a flaw people will complain, that's normal behaviour not anti technology If all was made clear at the beginning regardless of how tickets would work then there would have been fewer complaints. Non story. Even the quotes are 2nd hand

Then got a reply saying I needed to pick up up my new card from the club shop or at the FGR game.
