Anyone any idea if anything has been done or said at the Club regarding the debacle for season ticket holders on Saturday? Email claimed season card had been reactivated. It didn't work, had to queue for nearly an hour for a paper ticket. Will it be fixed before Oxford game? Anyone from the Club care to comment? Apologise?

SHAMBLES!!!
The ticketing in all aspects this season has been very testing on the patience.
Season ticket fiasco, problems booking away tickets and a nightmare booking hospitality
Extremely frustrating and extremely unnecessary

Worked like a dream for me and my boy - Last seasons season ticket had been activated Same for me and the group around me. The only one who had trouble was a former South stand ST holder who had changed to the west enclosure who had an eticket that did not work.

My season ticket didn't work but the e ticket (which they said was cancelled) did. I logged onto Ticketmaster and it says on my account next game scheduled is Oxford So fingers crossed

I was lucky, my ST didn't work, my son and grandsons did, I stayed in the turnstile until someone let me in.

I never received an e-Ticket, so assumed card had been reactived. It flashed red on the card reader when I was at the turnstile, so clearly it hasn't been.
I have e-mailed the club, but not had a response yet. Would expect a general update. A lot of people in the queue had been sent away when their cards were refused and had to sort it out at the ticket office (fortunately the turnstile operator just overrode the card reader to let me in - presumably because it was so busy and close to KO)

They say it comes in threes, ST didn't work, food sold out and 89th minute opposition winner.

Nothing on social media and Sam Frost still seems to be waiting for a response. It's almost as if the club either doesn't know what to say, or are just ignoring the problem. It's shocking behaviour really when fans have paid £100's for season tickets which now don't work.

They apologised and said that they had heavily tested before the game and things looked good. They are now conducting an internal investigation and will communicate next steps before the Oxford game

Following on from Saturday's match against Forest Green Rovers, the club would like to address the issues concerning access for our Season Ticket holders. In the weeks leading up to the game, the club spent time communicating with our Season Ticket holders in order to confirm their access requirements for the first game of the season. During the week of the game, testing was carried out on season cards, paper tickets and e-tickets to ensure our gates and control points were ready for the return of fans. Ahead of the game, the club was confident that we would get everyone into the ground and into their new areas, where required. On the day of the game, this was unfortunately not the case. Following a full inquiry by the club, which concluded yesterday with a meeting of our ticketing partner and our access control partner, we are now aware that an element of the setup on the turnstiles and season cards was not carried out, which led to a number of people having to queue at the ticket office to get a paper ticket. We were disappointed to learn that such a task was not carried out, and it left the club unable to defend itself from ticketing errors across all turnstiles, leading to the queues at the ticket office. Our ticketing and access control partners are working on the data for our Season Ticket holders to make sure that we are ready for the Sky Bet League One game with Oxford United next weekend. This will include all parties carrying out a site visit during the week of the game to test tickets, turnstiles and scanners. We have had assurances that we will not see a repeat of the issues that occurred before the last game. We would like to remind fans that verbal abuse and online abuse of club staff members will not be tolerated and will be dealt with by the club. Our staff are here to help you and deliver the best matchday experience possible. We would like to thank our fans who were asked to move ahead of last weekend's game; the Safety Advisory Group was happy that we demonstrated the reduction in numbers in the Thatchers terrace. We still ask that fans respect the yellow areas in the gangways and at the back of terrace areas, for the safety of all fans inside the stadium. If we continue to do this, we can ensure that our capacities are increased, allowing more fans back to The Mem, and enjoy the game from the areas of the ground that they have done previously. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2022/august/club-statement-season-tickets/Seriously, what is wrong with people??!
