No reason for our game tomorrow or Saturday to be called off. Some London games may struggle, but police have said up to clubs. Thats not to say the EFL/EPL might make a silly decision, but no reason.

So are we to assume tomorrow's game is going ahead? Dreadful lack of clarity from the EFL Nonsense, the original statement says "EFL fixtures will then recommence on Tuesday 13th September 2022, when Rovers face Ipswich Town at Portman Road."What is not clear about that? That's not an EFL statement, tickets have been taken off sale

Midweek English Football League fixtures are expected to go ahead, but the EFL is yet to issue a statement.
The Premier League is also yet to make an announcement about the games to be played between 16 and 18 September.

That's not an EFL statement, tickets have been taken off sale Just as they normally would for any away fixture I see. Just a normal fixture for a normal set of circumstances. No need for a statement then. Cheers

Tomorrow will go ahead I’m sure. However, there’s been no statement to confirm the EFL games this weekend. Listening to radio 5, it sounded like police may be drafted to London from other regions, which may still be an issue.

Sorry I haven’t gone through all the posts, so I maybe repeating other comments. It’s been a strange weekend without any football from Prem to kids grassroots, and of course the feeling of if you a Royalist or anti Royal of real sorrow on the passing of a wonderful woman. I absolutely think it is the right decision as a mark of respect for our late Queen. However I can’t help feeling that the complete muppets that all clubs have as so called supporters, those that ruin our game have won. I wouldn’t of wanted to make the decision to call off fixtures. You can’t help feeling that the powers to be quite rightly don’t want pictures broadcast around the world of a small minority of idiots that are at every club to disrupt a minutes silence or remembrance. Sad that this I have no doubt would have been considered when making the decision. RIP our Queen, and all being well, we will see our other holy grail next weekend. I think the powers that be at the football authorities assumed there would be an idiotic minority. That's where I think they got it wrong. I don't believe for a minute that anyone would have disrupted the silence/national anthem as they would know full well they would have thousands round them who would be more than p155ed off. As for coverage of idiots our media seem to be proud of sending out footage for all to see. If Nice v Cologne had been a British game the media would have been all over it. Granted, media at the moment is focused elsewhere but on a 'normal' week it still would have got little coverage. Just seems we are still focused on finding idiots who go to football and labelling them as 'typical British football fans.'

Just seen Arsenals game on Thursday is off due to policing issues although Chelsea is fine for Wednesday. Arsenal fans a bit annoyed as now 2 games a week until the world cup.

Will they close pubs too as there are no police about? Hardly think Rovers v Lincoln is a big drain on resources. Should be on.

There definitely will be a police presence required

Neither set of fans blameless from what I’ve seen!

Long time ago now to be fair but Celtic took a Pre season friendly at their place a bit lightly and came off extremely second best
