Agree They have a big hooligan element. Long time ago now to be fair but Celtic took a Pre season friendly at their place a bit lightly and came off extremely second best It was carnage up there after the play-off semi final in 2007 Up there after the match one of our fans was stabbed in the lane by the ground, we were not far away, not life threatening but they re certainly not choir boys!

Our game will probably get called off if fans are talking up the risk of trouble on their forums.

Just seen Arsenals game on Thursday is off due to policing issues although Chelsea is fine for Wednesday. Arsenal fans a bit annoyed as now 2 games a week until the world cup. I think it's pretty much two games a week already until the WC for all the prem teams in Europe. I guess the postponed premier league matches will not get played now until the new year. However, I imagine they will have to somehow fit in the postponed European matches before November.

Yeah somehow I don’t think the travelling masses of bloodthirsty Lincoln hooligans will that much of a problem. you would be surprised at the amount of trouble they have caused over the years. There definitely will be a police presence required Ofcourse they will, every club have them. But they’re hardly Russian ultras who will travel in hoards, I’d be supirsed if they bring more than 400.

Is the game vs Lincoln in serious doubt then? Thinking of getting a ticket.... If any are still available?

Just thinking this that it might be in doubt, change the time to allow ifollow for Lincoln fans ,and have no away fans, otherwise cant see it being on. Will they close pubs too as there are no police about? Hardly think Rovers v Lincoln is a big drain on resources. Should be on. There has been a fair few very nasty incident when we have played them and there is bad feeling. This one should have policing and be carefully monitored, prior to the game. One young guy got glassed a couple of seasons ago and i seem to remember it being very bad. Seems to habve started when Trollope team walloped them, in 07

I wonder if that was the same guy I was on a minibus with? Stabbed in the leg.

please stop talking up chances of trouble! Sorry - I'll downgrade to a plastic colander - could be a bit of a strain though.

Probably the right decision to reflect the change in the country's profile. It's a moment to reflect and football would look very out of step as other sports postpone other events. Who is reflecting? Do you think this forces people to mourn? I hope you will be doing nothing all weekend as a mark of respect. No shops, no takeaways, no watching TV. Its what she would have wanted. Sorry just read your reply. I've had the internet turned off and being nothing as a mark of respect for the last fornight
