Is anyone actually going to sit at home all weekend doing absolutely nothing, all miserable/sad🤦🏻
Did not think so.
Feel for anyone that’s been done out of some pricey train tickets to MK.

The Test Match and the golf at Wentworth are re-starting tomorrow, I'm sure that people attending will welcome the chance to show respect, and then enjoy a sporting event, after what will have been an emotional 48 hours for a lot of them. I think that the FA, EFL have mis-read the room.

PR f*ck up from the FA then, they’ve got egg on their face now. No they don’t. No **** up either. All, they’ve done is make their own decision in line with the overall guidance. Up to each sport to decide what to do, the FA, EFL and PL have made their decision, others have made a different one. Opinions vary like they do on here. They’ve made a decision that some like and feel appropriate and others don’t. Much like most decisions I’d say. 👍 UTG! But they’ve clearly jumped the gun and cancelled early, whilst other sports have announced they’ll continue with respectful remembrance.

So the Rugby, Cricket and Golf carry on but my kids can't play their grass roots football matches. What a ridiculous decision.

I’ll tell you what, think what you want about Boris Johnson, but what a magnificent speaker he is, his speech earlier in the House of Commons was superb.

Might be something to do with Prince William being President of the FA. Just saying.

It’s a bad call. There is no need to have called off the games. Many people wont be hugely affected by the death of the queen and while happy to pay their respects wont feel the need to bring life to a halt. The games should have been played with the respect that could have been incorporated to the matchday experience. Most of the other sports have kept going so I think football should have.

Yes, I don’t disagree necessarily but whatever they did they’d be criticised. And in the end they made an early decision probably to give everyone time to sort out stuff. As I said earlier, damned if they did, damned if they didn’t. At least we have certainty. Understand many won’t like it. 👍 UTG!

Yes that same bumbling fool that is only capable of putting more than two words together when he’s reading something that someone else has written.

I think that the FA, EFL have mis-read the room. Why didn't they speak to the cricket and rugby authorities to see what they intended doing, it now just looks odd there's no football but all the other sports are continuing.
