Well done the team and well done JB. It’s been a good couple of weeks after a bad couple and a run of defeats. They do seem able to pull out a good result after a bad run. Getting those defenders back seems to make a big difference. And a back 4!! Hope that pen will kick start Evans’ season. Well done everyone. Safe journey home to everyone.
UTG!

I am genuinely shocked at how bad they were. Certainly the worst side we’ve seen this season, surely? Can we play you every week vibes. MK's manager (head coach) will be lucky if he's still in a job, although we usually let teams like MK sneak an equaliser at the death. We're now competing with the lower half to mid table teams, it'll now be interesting to see how we get on against the top 10 sides.

Loft was held then dragged back, possibly a soft one which some refs might not have given but we would have probably still scored given how in top we were at that stage of the game.

I’m still fearing that date with Sheff Wednesday on Sky🤣 However we’re starting to get right on our game before that 3 game run against top opposition, just round the corner. Bring em on MK will be as good as down sticking with that current bloke. The reception they received at full time was pretty damning.

Win well deserved this will give the team confidence as we go into the Cheltenham game another three points there and we could be looking at top half position.

Three points and well deserved, never seen a team run so far up the line with their throw ins , the ref sent one player back and he then ran forward and took it from where the ref sent him back from, daft but things like that irritate me. Thought the slow tempo suited Coutts and he had his best game so far,Finley made a difference when he came on. On to Cheltemham. utg

Table looking a lot healthier than this time last week. We have played more games than almost everyone below us. I haven't chosen this post in particular, only its the last post with the table. 50% of the table is in minus goal difference. Take out FGR Morecombe and Burton which are leaking goals for fun, and the league will definitely not be won on goal difference. I cant however work out if we are poor at the front, poor at the back or a mix of it all. I'm far from a coach but if I was, Goal difference for me would be on the agenda and how we can impact our results based on as I say 50% of of the league on Minus figures. We have to be careful of that I think. No getting away from the great result UTG !!!

The kind of game that had we been on bang-on form would have won by a canter. Never looked like losing that game, good to see Coutts put in a decent shift, he owes Finley a pint though.
Confident that this squad of players will only improve over the course of this season, a midtable to tenth finish is achievable and a decent settling back into league 1 season IMO.
3 points at Cheltenham and then a tough run.

Deserved win, poorest MK side I’ve seen, the introduction of Sam Finley certainly lifted our performance, still think there’s a lot more to come from Gibbens & McCormick who are both quality players once they get more game time, onto Cheltenham Saturday.

Just home, enjoyable 2nd half. The critical side of me says we have to be beating teams like MK by more than 1 goal from penalties, but I’ll take 3 points all day long.
Excellent game mgmt from Barton and the team tbh, Finley completely changed the game.

Great win well deserved. There was really only one side in it and as much as MK were awful this was a competent performance. I think the team is coming together now and I can only see us getting better from here on. Another win Saturday and we can start to think about the other end of the table.
