i was so impressed with this lad in his short time with us. So direct with his wing play and not afraid to run at teams.
he is young and would come back with expectations which he may or may not thrive on??
According to his twitter account he returned to training recently. What do you think of our chances of getting him back on loan??

He mentioned us positively the other day and a bunch of us replied to him asking/begging him to come back, a few of which he retweeted. These were later removed. My assumption is he might like to but Fulham have told him to stop getting our hopes up. Could easily be on his way to a league club for a loan, he's good enough.

I was very impressed with LDV. At times he almost looked to good for this level.
In a weird way his injury might make it easier for him to come back to us. If he continued the form he was in he would of most likely attracted attention from league clubs.

LDV until the end of the season would be a fantastic signing, although I understand Fulham have other options for him.

I'd shoot my muck all over the pitch if we got him back until the end of the season. Best winger we've had since Caroyal.

Come to think of it he's the only proper out and out winger we've had since Caroyal. One of the biggest reasons we went down last season was playing players out if position on the wings because we had no wingers.

LDV is the game changer we currently lack. He is pacey, direct, tricky and makes things happen and I have no doubt Darrell would absolutely love to take him back on loan.
Unfortunately he played well enough for us previously to attract admiring glances from other clubs and that makes it difficult for us to re-sign him. I'm hoping Fulham will leave the decision in LDV's hands once he's fully fit because I think he'd jump at the chance to return to a team that are doing well and playing for fans that appreciate him.

I think Fulham would be mad to loan him to us again. I know his injury was not caused by impact but given the physicality of the Conference and that the lad clearly has the ability to play higher up the pyramid, i'd be surprised if they let us have him back, unless of course they feel he needs toughening up!

He's spent the whole season playing on the wrong wing. Meaning he doesn't trust his right foot and so he moves inside a lot or cuts inside as soon as he gets it. We aren't therefore using the whole width of the pitch, which is a massive shame cos the pitch is in brilliant nick. What do you think ihate ?

For some reason I thought he showed flashes of being a bit of a creative type, maybe out of necessity more than anything else if he's being played like that! Was glad to hear he's been doing well recently, enough for us to give him more of a chance hopefully cuz God knows we need wingers.

Sorry, but I can't agree. As you say, his injury was caused by him stepping on the ball and twisting. Could happen at Rovers or Man City. If Fulham were prepared to loan him to us before, there is no reason why they wouldn't loan him again. LDV himself would be made really welcome here and he sure knows it. From Rovers perspective, he would be a great addition. Knows the set up, knows the team, liked by the fans. However, with Jake Gosling coming into form, LDV would not be guaranteed a start + Balanta is coming back to fitness, so good competition for places.

In the two games he's played well he's been our best player but in the rest I think he's been below average compared to his team mates. I don't think he's a winger, more of a wide midfielder, decent player but not good enough or consistent enough , yet.

Talking of Balanta...how do people see him getting on here? I was very worried by his last performance. From what I have seen of him so far we have got what we were told we would get, a potentially talented player with a poor attitude.

What do you think ihate ? same with messi robben and hazard always playing on the wrong side and reducing the pitch by cutting inside even bloody ronaldo does it if only they played on the other side more and used the whole pitch!!!
