Hoping for a win sadly can’t make it tonight as I’m on a Road trip before heading back to NZ. Saw the last two games though with 3 generations of Gasheads . I’m Absolutely stoked, probably the best Rovers team I’ve ever seen.

Nice blend
Strong, but with chances to show JB they are good enough for Clarke, McCormick, Marquis and Loft (even Gibbons needs to show he’s a top right back…)
Be interesting to see the line up come Sunday!!

Disappointed we’re risking some of our key players for this joke of a competition.

Disappointed we’re risking some of our key players for this joke of a competition. A potential Wembley final and the £'s it will bring is hardly a joke?

Hoole is being given a rest. He’s young, Joey will build him back up Saunders a surprise. Would have started him over Collins. Kilgour should have started over Thomas. Hope Joey gets him a good loan in jan. feel sorry for him.

Thomas has a 1, possibly 2, match ban coming up for his 5th yellow on Saturday. I'm not sure if it will only affect league games or whether it means he'll miss the FA Cup game on Sunday. If he is to miss 2 then tonight might just be to keep him ticking over

Disappointed we’re risking some of our key players for this joke of a competition. A potential Wembley final and the £'s it will bring is hardly a joke? I don’t want to start old arguments again as I appreciate people have different views but the introduction of b teams means this competition mustn’t be seen as a success. I hope two b sides make the final and nobody turns up. I’d rather go without the money and wouldn’t want to go to Wembley in this cup. I think the long term future of the game for lower league clubs (and Rovers future) is more important. The only benefit I can see (apart from a little extra revenue) is to give young players and fringe players a chance but if we’re not doing that then I’d rather we were out of it. Anyway, I’ll hop off my soapbox now! 😁

From what Joey says it seems like he is really going for this competition and would love a Wembley final.
Surprising stance considering his comments earlier this season when he was pretty scathing about the U21s involvement.

Money talks another £20k if we win tonight and prospect of a National Final at Wembley. Good to see tie taken seriously.

Is there anyone in the ground? Big queues outside might be a delayed kick off apparently ...free Papa John's treats being snapped up.
