Joe Barton wants to take us gasheads on a journey to Wembley in April. Perfect chance to progress at Colchester with £20k prize money for winning the tie. Opportunity for Loft. Clarke Marquis and Jaakolla to push for a place in fa cup squad for Sunday. Looking forward to watching it on ifollow Wednesday evening 730pm kick off. I’ve just bought tickets for me and the boy to watch the FA cup game Sunday. I’m an old romantic when it comes to cup games, still something wonderful for me to dream of a big game away at one of the big boys. Hoping we put out teams to win both as it’s good for morale and who knows? That 3rd round draw with the gas in the hat is a highlight for me As the pizza cup, I have a feeling Colchester might be the ones to be on the end of a Finley bashing Under £20 for both of us to revel in the majesty of the Thatchers terrace on Sunday before the drive back to Dorset singing Wembley songs all the way home UTG

Don't be deceived by Colchester's league position or recent form.
Their 3-0 victory over The Dons/Vikings/Rovers on the weekend was significant.
The U's scored three long range goals and rode their luck but came away with three points.
Having not won since early October this will be a huge morale booster.
Although their away form is abysmal their home form is reasonable.
Their last home defeat was on the 24th September against The Dale.
To reach this stage they needed to beat Charlton Athletic and Brighton U-21 side.
In both fixtures they were 1-0 behind and scored two goals in the last 10 minutes.
John Akinde is one of the late substitutes they depend upon. Help?

Not too arsed about this fixture tbh, would rather we save legs for the bigger cup game on Sunday.

Given the strength of the squad we should have enough in depth to beat a bottom 3 L2 side.

Peterborough, Ipswich and Charlton all went out tonight, so only really Portsmouth to worry about avoiding if we get through tomorrow night.
Although I recall the semi finals aren't regionalised should we get that far?

Will save my winning run for the Sunday MDT. Think we should have enough to win this, but its a competition where anything could happen. My line up would be
Annsi Hoole Kilgour Gordon Gibbons Rossiter McCormick Lawrence Clarke Marquis Saunders
Loft off the bench assuming he is ready
