Front page of today's evening post reporting a last ditch attempt to save the stadium. Doesn't actually seem like anything we didn't know but it doesn't look good. Again NH refuses to comment. Could this be genuinely because of legal reasons or does he just not want to communicate the bad news to us? What will the Bahrainis think now?

Which forum did the evening post pick this nugget of information up from, I would rather wait for something concrete from the club than believe that libellous rag

It states that a judge will look at the case next month, that's new I think.

Looks like it could all be down to the judge then. Wish NH would tell the paying customers something though tbh, thought he said more in that Gulf Weekly interview than he has to us for 6+ months.

In the article, it also said that Sainsbury's refused to comment 'due to legal reasons'.

Why criticise Nick at every opportunity? He has been the man who has had the constant headache of the UWE and the man who has got us further than anyone else regarding a new stadium. He may not be great at picking managers, but TBH neither are we as most would have agreed with his appointments at the beginning. These deals are surrounded in legalities and to go public may jeopardize it, surely you dont want that do you?

I don't trust the Bristol City Evening Post.
I too wish we were better informed by our BoD. I just don't see the UWE happening now, its all just a matter of compo. I'm sure if NH came out and said that he would a) be lynched and b) weaken his hand in court. He's rather damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
It's pretty pish poor of Sainsburies and I can't see a reason to blame the board. Even if the contract is watertight sainsburies will get out of it. I would think its a very strong contract or they would be out of it already. My guess is they are waiting it out to force us to pull out. They can afford to wait a lot longer than we can.

Good, looks like we might finally be getting a decision either way. I don't blame the club for not commenting, as that might break something in the contract and go against us in court.

You could always try and do his job better than him rather than get on a forum and moan.

The only real blame here is THE GREEN PARTY............if they had not messed about for months Sainsbury would have paid and we would have been on site before any of the big grocers slowed down with building new projects.

So are people only allowed to criticise someone's job performance when they would be able to do a better job themselves? If so then I don't see how anyone on this forum can ever criticise a players' performance in a game, seeing as I doubt anyone on here could do better than those in the quarters?

I'll be blaming Nick Higgs if this derails our season!!!
He needs to tell it as it is. Give the fans a rallying call - leave the Sainsburys issue to me, support the team and lets get back to the Football League.
I thought the communication had improved following the 2014 review!?
