If we're all convinced that the club is imminently doomed, shouldn't we just enjoy this final promotion push for a last bit of glory?
I'll get my coat.

Summary from the Gas List:- Easter and Clark will return to non contact training Thursday, contact training Friday and will be assessed for Saturdays match. To be honest, DC did not sound fully confident that either would be available. There were no other injuries from Saturday’s game, Parkes is OK We are looking at bringing in a midfield player on loan. If we do not get promoted this season we will lose out on £400k+ in guaranteed revenues. We will also lose out on the Youth team revenues, not sure if that is within the £400K or will be in addition to it. The Directors are confident that the Sainsbury court case will go in our favour. They do have a plan b,c,d if we do not win and on the suggestion to nurses accommodation at The Mem for Southmead hospital, they just smiled. UWE are still on-board with the development. The confidential clause still applies as we do not want to give Sainsbury any leverage to use against us. The court case is now set to commence on 14th May and not the date previously given. All the papers are now at the Court and apparently can be inspected but I do not have a link. The BT Sport revenue for televised games is £7k for a home game and £1k for an away game, we lose money on televised home games due to fewer spectators but we cannot refuse to allow them to televise games. DC likes players to take quick throw ins, it is not permissible to use the multi ball system, Gateshead are allowed to as their ground is an athletic stadium!!!!!! I wonder how great and what the Plan B, Cs and Ds are? I mean if we lost the court case and get nothing and have a massive loan and costs to repay how viable are B, C and D and if they are that good....
Someone suggested nurses homes for Southmead hospital and the Board just smiled. We could have thrown many suggestions but were never going to get a reply.
The Board would want to keep that private for the time being. Why give Trash/Greens something to get into. In any case, I try to look on the bright side at the moment and hope it does not come to that.

Not sure I want a load of young nurses walking past my house on their way to and from Southmead Hospital. #NIMBY

What Youth Team revenues will we lose if we don't go up? Does the FL fund some youth development? Is that what that means? Interesting article here that gives info about the funding, and how Cambridge United resurrected their youth scheme during their non-league period. Ta. Interesting. I wonder how much dosh our 50/50 tickets generate. .

I understand the plans wouldn't be told. but the Scenario is lose the case. Have a £2.5m loan + interest to pay back plus any costs. What are these plans to generate the money we need plus the extra?
Are we going to go back to The original Mem plans?

Surely repeating this on an open forum is giving Trash/Green soemthing to get into already? Not sure we can gain access to the court papers as what happens if prejuduce the case by discussing some of the evidence on the forum?

I'm a bit confused by the part of the AGM about losing money on BT games does anyone know if this was as a direct response to a question about making money from TV games? Grimsby was above average attendance whilst Gateheads was below but so were Friday night games last season.

Grimsby was above average attendance whilst Gateheads was below but so were Friday night games last season. If we maintain this challenge at the top, average attendance will out-do last season's number anyway, so nowt for the BoD to moan about in that regard. Having said that the TV money does seem v.low when you consider how much the PL teams are getting. Less a problem for us, but what about Braintree, Nuneaton etc. who all have/have had games on BT this season.

I guess it's less of a problem to braintree as it's hardly likely to knock 100's off a 1,500 gate? Although given we've only been on a couple of times at home it's hardly a major issue if we've lost a few 100 off the gate?

Yes they did. 4126 v Macca Answer the question, please? Edited to help a response "Nick Higgs was asked in the report just posted by Peter Parker "why the directors had opted to refinance at such a high rate of interest instead of loaning the money themselves at lower rates of interest" and the reply from Nick Higgs was “The refinancing was done for a very specific reason"." Thats alright then....

Could it be the case if Sainsbury's lose they'll be forced to pay the loan interest as part of our claim but wouldn't after reimburse the Directors for the costs of any money they lent him.
Regardless can we really expect the Directors to keep on loaning the club money, even their pockets can't be bottomless?

They decide the budget, they know how much shortfall they are going to get, and therefore they are obliged to cover it.

Scary stuff but actually its really positive, the directors must be really sure of success if they are prepared to take this risk. After all they wouldn't risk the asset they ultimately own going through with a 50 / 50 shout. They are in receipt of the full facts while some make judgement on idle speculation without any facts to back it up. I think and believe Mr Higgs will pull the UWE Bristol Stadium rabbit out of the hat.
