Anybody else worried about the TBC game for BT Sport on the 18th? Would really screw up a lot of travel plans at such short notice. Hopefully not us, you'd imagine they'd pick the obvious one in Alfreton - Welling given the potential importance of it, but I could see them picking one of the teams at the top. Anyone know when they are going to announce the fixture? Any chance they're waiting to see this weekends results as Welling could be (all but) down if results go against them Saturday. Similarly, if results go the way of ourselves or Barnet, there's a chance we (or they) could be crowned champions next week live on tv. Seems very late in the day already with just 9 days to go, but they're not gonna want to choose a game now and then it mean nothing if results go a certain way this week. They put a tweet out to say they are waiting until the results this Saturday...

I have no memberships and didn't want to risk missing the game.. so a dover local went to there shop today and got me some tickets for the dover end ... He reported there shop as saying that home area sales are exceeding expectations.... To get a dover end ticket home fans can only do so in person at the shop to avoid away fans accessing him end tickets

Then BT will inevitably pick that game on the 18th (surely?!). Then Alfreton win to make their last game against us pointless

In that case it must be to see the result of Alfreton/Welling matches and to see if anyone at the top is in a position to win it next weekend.

We as Dover fans would happily let you have any spare tickets for the river end but the Police won't allow it! As for those that are staying over for gods sake dont stay in Folkestone its a shocking night out especially when Dover has such good drinking establishments such as Cullen's Yard, The Lanes and the Rack of Ale! When I collected my tickets there was a Brizzle Rovers fan and his wife that came down for the weekend just to buy tickets in the home end

If BT seriously think viewers are going to tune in to watch Alfreton rather than Rovers or Grimsby they are deluded!

Given they've shown the likes of Braintree - Telford this season, I don't think viewing figures are their priority. Being realistic, they will show Barnet, Rovers and Grimsby in some form over the next few weeks anyway so I wouldn't be surprised to see them go for Welling - Alfreton.

The secretary at Dover will not give us anymore tickets because of safety issues ! The ground capacity is 5750 they never get 1000 which leaves a lot of capacity by my arithmetic Its about time these clubs worked with their safety officers and sorted out there capacities !

If that's the case why wait until Saturday evening to chose the best match to show if it's not based on likely viewers/interest next week, they may as well just choose a random game now? Although I sense they might be going for a relegation match as the following week and the Play Offs cover the promotion marches.

Merely guessing here, but I suppose they have two scenarios to consider on Saturday. The first being that the relegation scrap could be effectively over after Saturday if Alfreton somehow win at Eastleigh and Welling lose. The other scenario is that us and Grimsby lose with Barnet winning, giving the latter a chance to seal the title on the 18th. Unless that happens, I think they'll wait til the 25th and the play-offs to cover the teams at the top. They're probably waiting until after Saturday in case one of the above scenarios happens.

Is this a fact? Rediculous that we have had fans wanting to buy tickets for games with plenty of space, but can't. Turn up anyway, it worked at Kiddy and might make clubs see sense next time around.

I wrote to the Dover secretary and he was not understanding at all I really believe some of these clubs really don't have a clue He put it down as a safety concern ! Surely they have a stand which holds 1500 so all the have to do is decide this in half as surely with their gets well under 1000 they must only have 500 max season ticket holders

Question if you are a season ticket holder and you live in Surrey how do you get a Dover ticket because I have been told you have to go in person but surely that's not practical

I thought unsegregated games were allowed in the conference? Why can this game not be unsegregated? We have no history with Dover that I am aware of.
If the police insist on it being segregated, why not switch the home and away fans so that the home fans have the smaller c.2,000 capacity section and Rovers have the remaining 4,000? Unless of course Dover don't need/want the extra revenue?

I presume this 'no extra tickets' does not include a potential extra 541 terrace tkts in front of the Dover end. TBH, if they give us those we can't fully expect more, as any more will be hard to segregate. I am surprised they didn;t offer us half of the seats on the west side, but other than that there isn;t actually much capacity left in the ground, as segregating the smaller terrace is not usually done at any ground [segregation also needs toilets, food, turnstiles,, access etc]. in my heart of course I agree that it would be great if we could almost 'take over the ground' and satisfy demand, but we need to be careful not to sound arrogant ['we are coming so you better let us in to YOUR ground']. it istheir ground, theirfans say they've had a great season and don't really need the money, and they may even have a chance of play-offs still.

I do realise that we havent beaten Sounthport yet ...but if we do and then are faced with having to get 3 points at Dover it is interesting to hear Garry Hill the Woking Manager talk about their match at Dover - gives us an idea of what to expect. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32165877
