2,234? that is pathetic.
6,000 ground. 2,000 away terrace. so they are offering just a few hundred seats??
average crowd of less than 1,000.

No excuses for those who don't get tickets this time (assuming you are in the priority group), seeing how fast the last 1600 Kiddy tickets went...

has no-one told them we just sold 2,600 kiddie tkts 6 days before the match even takes place?
sadly people who want to sit will be forced to stand, and then they might give us more seats, leading to people who want to stand being be forced to sit. silly.
why not just give us 3-4,000 tkts now??

They have a home terrace that holds 2,000, and two seated stands. One the full length of the pitch, the other half. I guess they can't really take both from the home fans... footballgroundguide.com/leagues/conference/conference-premier/dover-athletic-fc-crabble-athletic-ground.htmlEDIT: Is that pic on the supporters page right? I can't see it on footballgroundguide...

I can't see it on footballgroundguide... give us the big one. relocate a few of their fans if need be and give them a £5 food voucher (which runs out at the end of the season -LOL) Or sit by near drain and chuck £15 notes (they do exist, at least in Easton they do..) down it. Do people not want our money? Who knows what big away crowds they may get next season. None maybe. Bottom line is a 6,000 stadium that may only have 3,500 in it.

If we could win the league from this match, I do wonder how many we would sell with no limit... another Blackpool?

Perhaps we should start a thread of with anyone who has friends / relatives that live in the Dover area who can get tickets for the home end ;-)

There are bound to be Gasheads who wait to see how important the game will be before buying a ticket. Like Kiddy, I can see a mad, last minute scramble for 1000 tickets. Get 'em early Gasheads!!!

Hello Dover fan in peace here.
You have been allocated the bigger stand (the Dover end) which holds 2,000 and the Family stand which holds 224. There is the option for a further 541 fans to be accommodated in front of the Dover end stand. I suspect you would be given extra tickets if you sell out your initial allocation. This would give you a bigger allocation than the home team (same as Crystal Palace earlier this year).
It is simply not feasible for you to be allocated any further tickets than this due to the lay out of the ground, even though I’m sure most Dover fans would be happy for you to take even more of our allocation, even our bar! Please don’t be that disingenuous to expect us to do more than what we can do as we must act under Police advice.
As you say, it’s our cup final, so for a very (part time) set of minnows, we genuinely welcome you to our ground. I suspect your visit and our last home game of the season also encourage some of our fair weather fans to also come out and watch us (and you) play. Given that our initial ambition at the start of the season was to finish 5th bottom (or better) we have reached that aim and a little bit more.
Enjoy your day with us and may the whitest best team on the day win!

We don't really have a 'home' terrace because of the non-league swapping of ends. You've already been given the bigger terrace and some seats.
doverathletic.com/downloads/pdf/DoverGroundPlanV150115-1.pdf
You cant really expect us throw away all the home advantage? saying that we could probably give have of the main stands seats - we wont need them.
We dont really need a bit more money, this season we have made the most money in our history.
There's always the hill behind the Dover End - you can watch through the trees for free!
Has anyone you end heard anything about any possible switch for live tv? cant trust the conference/bt not to make a last minute change.
also been posted that theres no direct trains between London and dover that weekend - engineering works
Hope you have a good day, except the game.
edit - oh dear - it is not our cup final

Thanks to the Dover fans. Just to see what it is like. Palace were allocated the same as Rovers have been offered + the additional 541 in the open area in front of the Dover End (2765) www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30673099Given the set up of the Main Stand, they could also allocate the half at the Dover End, which would be another 350 or so - just depends whether Dover want the money, because we would definitely sell 3000+

Can anyone confirm whether BT sport will be screening more Conference Premier games during April between the Dartford v Barnet game on monday and the playoffs? Is there any chance the day of this game could be changed? Hoping if it were screened live that it may be shown lunchtime kick off but would be major problem if they change day given number of people who have booked trains and hotels.
