Struggle to believe this is true, forest green are terrified we will have well over half the crowd and are trying all they can to stop gas getting in the home end.

Have to agree surely one of the thousand would be now posting something on the forum? Plus why would FGR print off tickets before they've checked with Rovers?
Anyway given the strict control over DP I sense there's no way FGR have managed to cross check with Rovers, not within less than 24 hours unless Rovers have foolishly released all their fans/customers data to a third party.

Agree both FGR and BRFC may be on a very sticky wicket if they are sharing personal data without consent .....

FGR require to see either a Driving licence or Passport and a recent utility bill from callers who visit their ticket office at the ground. They have apparently stopped the sale of tickets from an outlet at Ecotricity in Stroud. A lot of big Billy Bollocks talk on here about Gasheads having tickets for the away end but not any on here telling us, in spite of all sorts of large numbers being quoted by some on here.

Well I know someone who went up there to get tickets the other day. Told me they printed the tickets off in front of them, but said they had to hold them until the day of the game for 'security reasons' which included information such as the section of the ground and ticket number.
That information is clearly missing from the tickets on the photos of them apparently being shredded. Which leaves me to believe that it was a attempt to stop Gasheads buying more.

It's obviously true that on Sunday lots of Gas got tkts. Now it is obviously harder, and people wouldn't want to talk about it too much anyway. Why is that so unbelievable?

Crazy league, stadium won't even be full yet we sold out before the shop opened, some bought some in person and still FGR have to rip up 1000, and that's just the ones they found. Can't blame them for not giving us more, though. Given the amount, odds are they have probably ripped up a couple of their own fans' tickets with mistaken identity and all, they wouldn't be happy. What are they going to do with the 1000 fans who turn up on Wednesday evening to collect their tickets, only to be told they have been destroyed. A lot of disappointed fans wandering around Nailsworth. must be a bluff. online orders said collect from FGR reception now or before the game. Most people (even FGR exiles) won't be going to collect them monday, tues, or wed am. That is the point of buying things on the internet! Remember, this was all BEFORE extra bulletins were put out about extra hoops to jump through. Has anyone been phoned, had a refund, or an email to tell them of a cancellation or even the extra security measures? I guess not as no-one has mentioned anything like that, be they Gas, FGR exiles, or even casual fans who just want to watch a tasty game of footy between 2 decent teams.

So if they hold them until the day of the game, there'll be a few thousand turning up on the day to collect tickets. You only need a 100 or so Gas turned away and a few arguments at the ticket office to cause chaos. Sheer madness. They knew it would happen and should have let us have more tickets.

Surely what'll happen is they'll create a new segregation area for us in the home end? I would assume that they know that some of us will be in and as such will have this as a contingency plan.
Have I secured my ticket in the home end apparently without issue? Possibly....

I don't see the need for segregation, we've got no history and as long as it stay as banter between the 2 sets of fans I've got no problem bring stood side by side to a FGR fan.

It really says something when people are struggling to get tickets for a bloody non-league game of football! I could watch a Prem match with less hassle to get tickets!
Thank you Forest Green for generously giving us 12 away tickets...

If I make the trip up to Nailsworth tomorrow to buy in person, do you think they'll do the database cross check there and then?! Presumably not. A friend of mine went up today, gave a fake name and postcode and was told he could pick the tickets up on Wednesday. easy as that! He's doomed, doomed it tell you, good god man has your friend never seen the wickerman, he's untraceable now,

People who still live with parents or house share for example. Bank statements might do it I suppose
