Nah, we'll be fine. We have goals all over the pitch, and our defence won't let that fat sh*t Parkin anywhere near the goal.

It would be a travesty if we didn't win. Fgr are a joke. Dirty team with one or two lumps they rely on. Constant hoofball up to parkin. Quite simply we are better than them. They absolutely don't deserve to be in the playoffs really, I can think of a number of teams that deserve it more.

We've got plenty of people who can pop up with a goal, do they??... I'm not worried

We've been doing that for a few seasons, but we don't have the lumps up front....so thats where we've been going wrong!

If FGR play both those Center backs again we will have a field day.I cant believe how bad they both were.Playing far too deep and allowing the ball to bounce first instead of attacking it,i wonder if clough does play, what sort of reception he is going to get ? after that thugs display on Wed [more the smack into Taylor's back than the girlie kick at Puddy], he will get a worse welcome than the dog who shat all over your new white sofa whilst you were at the work discipline meeting that sacked you. Oh, and you also went upstairs to find your dad humping your wife.

Does anyone else think it is a worry being without Ellis and Jermaine on Sunday. Not sure where the goals will come from and I wonder if Bliss is strong enough to cope with their uncompromising defence. Perhaps its just me, hope I am wrong. I just worry Agree with you - Balanta did look threatening when he came on last time and should have had a hattrick if was sharper. Personally feel Blissett is too raw and FGR back 4 bully boys will contain him too easily whereas Balanta maybe too cute for them if played up front with Taylor technically we don;t even need to score a goal on Sunday of course [as long as we don't concede any] the decision between Balanta and Blissett is one hell of a decision! I can see both sides and pray DC gets it right. Thankfully we are 1 up, at home, and have 5 subs, so I guess that 1 decision like this may not actually be a game changer. Bliss is the safer option. Just chuck a bit man up front, to occupy their big men. We all know that Bliss isn't actually that good, but they don't. LOL. The ball may bounce off him, his flick-ons may go no-where, and he may be ineffective in an positive /creative sense, but at least he is occupying them. And could do a job for us in defence as well (corners/freekicks etc. Balanta could maybe give them a completely different type of problem and really surprise them. He could open them up like a heart surgeon on speed, BUT there is a risk he won't, and won't 'occupy' their defence, thus allowing them time on the ball, be able to push out more, and maybe even to attack more, if they need to attack. That is the worst case scenario, and it could let them back into the game. My heart says Balanta. My head says Bliss, plus some more creative players on the bench if either we are comfortably ahead and he is knackered, or in case we need something different to try to open them up and exploit their weaknesses.

If Bliss plays, I fear we'll have to rely on a 0-0. Think that's realistic though with our defence.

Think Bliss is getting a bit too much stick, at Kidderminster he was fantastic I can't recall Balanta having one decent game in a Rovers shirt, apart from the odd sub appearance.
Plus whose going to pick up the two strikers & two central defenders at corners etc if we play Balanta?

I think that one change is significant because he is more effective than Bliss and Matty has been more prolific with Ellis alongside him. Not being negative about Sunday just wanted to discuss my concerns, many other players have scored and I just hope they do again.

Would've gone into Sunday very confident with Harrison/Taylor the way they're playing together. I feel like we're going to score 3+ goals especially at home when they play. Not sure Blissett and Taylor have much of a connection and if we start lumping to Bliss we'll just invite pressure and play into their hands. Lines and Mansell need to get the ball and knock it wide and ignore the fact we've got a big guy up front. Then we can score goals! Anyway, we're keeping a clean sheet so it's all irrelevant.

I think we've got a guarenteed goal in us - which means FGR will have to score at least 3 to win - not happening! *sticks on Nathan Blisset sticker*

I don't think the problem is Lines & Mansel it's Parkes & McChrystal hitting it long from the back, if DC goes with Bliss then he must try and ensure we don't revert to hoof ball, if we do the game will just become a tennis match, which is probably what FGR want.

To be fair I'd probably be going insane if I wasn't! I think we'll score at least 2. FGR will leave gaps at the back... I'm going to say 3-0....

Yeah I agree. What I meant was Lines and Mansell need to make a real effort to go back and get the ball from the centre backs and put their foot on the ball to control the game if it does go the way you mentioned as I fear it will. No good letting it go over their heads all game else we'll be in trouble.

Tbf we played some long ball on Wednesday. However, rather than hit and hope they were decent diagonal balls that gave the striker options.
