Does anyone else think it is a worry being without Ellis and Jermaine on Sunday. Not sure where the goals will come from and I wonder if Bliss is strong enough to cope with their uncompromising defence. Perhaps its just me, hope I am wrong. I just worry

Easter hasn't really been much to do with our firepower.
We'll be fine for one game, we got Taylor in form, Bliss is overdue a goal and we've had goals from all over the pitch this season.
Then if we do get to the final, we'll have a rested and hopefully calmer Ellis.

Not overly worried. The team has goals in it. Taylor is our top scorer, Blissett has 9 for the season, Monkhouse has 10 without anyone really noticing. Mansell and Lines offer a goal threat. We'll be fine as long as we set out to dictate the play and don't sit back.

We will dictate the home leg. I thought FGR pitch was quite small? Ours looks much bigger and will give Gosling the space that he never got on Wednesday night....

I just worry Agree with you - Balanta did look threatening when he came on last time and should have had a hattrick if was sharper. Personally feel Blissett is too raw and FGR back 4 bully boys will contain him too easily whereas Balanta maybe too cute for them if played up front with Taylor

Ellis has turned us around but we've won convincingly without him.
I'm actually happy that we can be sure he'd be available for ... not saying.

At least we're not like Barnet where losing Akinde would be a big loss, not sure why posters are saying bliss can't cope with their defence as surely DC signed him because he can cope at this level?
I'd be more worried if I was an FGR fan expecting Parkin to play another full match 3.5 days after his last one as it must take some effort moving his big frame around a pitch at his age.

It's not so much that Blissett won't be able to cope, but that the defence is more suited to dealing with big, static targetmen than it is to dealing with players like Balanta. Remember, they train with Parkin every day.

Bliss wasn't that static when he scored against us at the Mem! We just need to use the EH game plan and not revert to hoofball if Bliss play.

Wow - I thought this was a thread from a year ago!
Lines is due a goal - he's tee'd a few up in the last few games!!!! Watch this space!
Monkhouse, Gosling & Blissett also have a goal in them!!!
Relax! Now is not the time for negative posts!!!

I unserstand the op's concerns. This is my biggest concern too. Ellis will be a big loss. I do fancy us getting a goal from a set piece though.

If FGR play both those Center backs again we will have a field day.I cant believe how bad they both were.Playing far too deep and allowing the ball to bounce first instead of attacking it,i wonder if clough does play, what sort of reception he is going to get ?

I just can't see us playing decent football the way we can if Bliss starts. The last thing we want is a game of hoofball head tennis because if that happens I think we'll lose.

Relax! Now is not the time for negative posts!!! In fairness people aren't being negative, they're concerned and maybe with some need. The last thing we need is to get cocky and think this tie is done and dusted, cause it most certainly is not. 90 minutes of damn hard work ahead of us, any weakness and FGR will punish us.

Before Wednesday I don't think he would have got any sort of reaction but his kick at Puddy and blatant foul on Taylor that he got away with will probably cause him to get stick.
