The real issue is that everything is now made in the far east and they can't get them quick enough. If they were made down the road it would be much easier. If you inform any decent supplier, regardless of geographical location, months in advance that there's a very good chance you could be able to shift around £40k + (1000 x £40) of their stock they will soon have them delivered.
Surely that's one of the reasons why the orders are placed abroad in the first place, cheaper product with quicker turnaround.
And the fact that the sales of shirts this season have been and I quote "phenomenal" a missed opportunity to have stocked up and sell even just non-Wembley ones.
So where have these yellow ones suddenly come from? surely even plain blue would be better.

I'm told our marketing department just sit around all day playing pocket billiards.
No mean feat since 2 of them are women.

This is ridiculous!
With everything we have had going on over the last few months with the legal case, push for promotion etc.. You are all honestly saying that someone should have thought to themselves "hang on, we had better mass rush the order of the new kit just in case we make wembley!"?!
Come on now..
Standard no win situation for the club anyway. Release it early and get picked apart for trying to 'rip the fans off' or leave it and focus on far more important things and then get picked apart for not thinking ahead!

The Marketing dept has its job....not the legal case, not the promotion push, believe it or not its job is to plan and sell merchandise. Its very simple business basics, if you want to run a successful business you must be ready for all eventualities, more especially when you're up sh1t creek without a paddle with your finances. It aint rocket science, it really isn't.

Not really sure what you imagine the board actually do. They're not hunched over arcane tomes in a legal library all day researching obscure cases, one of which might hold the key to our case against Sainsbury's, nor do they constantly analyse DVDs of football matches working on finding the key tactical nuance that will unlock Grimsby's defence.

A certain director allegedly muttered 'but we've only been in the play offs since October 2014, we didn't contemplate a play off final happening to us...We will be a circus until a new BOD arrives, just have to get on with it and accept it, for now.

Looks like a "corporate" Wembley design to me so I guess its a joint thing with Wembley for play off finalists each year? Nevertheless, it's good to see, and hopefully a bit of dosh for the coffers of BRFC.

"Allegedly"? So it could quite easily be bullshit then.

Sorry like these and bought 2 - yes shame money not going in Rovers coffers but for £12 can't complain. Similar in format to the polo shirts for JPT in Cardiff 07. Go on Gasheads -shut your eyes and get one, it blue after all

BRFC Direct is Rovers' own online shop, so the club pockets all the profit made on these Wembley t-shirts and polo shirts.
EDIT: After Wembley Stadium take their cut.

Anyone who can get off their backsides and order merchandise will have a field day with the number of day trippers. Its the land of opportunity you know. some enterprising lads are gonna coin it in.
