BB isn't getting any younger and surely doesn't still need the money the shirt contact might bring him, why doesn't he just step aside, or at least get some assistance from a younger board member?
We've probably thrown away upwards of £50K on not having quatered shirts for sale, plus if fans had gone to the shop to buy a shirt may well have bought other items as well?

Whilst I and most other Rovers fans wouldn't change our famous quarters, it can also be a hindrance at times like this. Due to it uniqueness, it won't get mass produced in the same way as a lot of kits do which are identical designs with colours, sponsor logos and badges changed for each club hence it was probably so much easier to get the plain yellow shirt.
Although I agree that it is far from brilliant when it comes to an occasion like this and we aren't able to capitalise on it...

The suppliers should have been warned off months ago. The software should have been ready to go as soon as FGR were dispatched. We should have a range of merchandise ready to go but sadly and unsurprisingly we have not. The yellow shirt, which we are not playing in, is a pathetic backup attempt. Fortunately for us as supporters, we have enough experience of BRFC and will make do with our own imagination and endeavour.

Fair play to the bloke with the stall in Broadmead..!! If only our marketing and commercial department had the same business sense.

Two sellers on Gloucester Road with a big selection of hats, scarves, flags etc. Many with our actual badge on. I thought that wasn't allowed due to copyright?

The quality of the merchandise the market vendors are selling seems to be of similar or better quality, at a fraction of the cost.
When you have a 70+ year old with a 60's Boofon in charge of commercial and marketing its no surprise we are way behind on today's trends.
A mate of mine who did some work at the mem said he often saw the marketing team spending a majority of there day smoking and drinking tea.
Can you imagine all of this in the 'new stadium' ?
