That sounds like a script for a porn film. If you are interested in the plot of a porn film I fear you are watching too much. I can't understand what they're saying anyway.

Back to the plot of this thread...
If they do some kind of deal by Thursday that could be it. Done and dusted?
Imo that's a risky move by the Board if they were to concede defeat over building uwe this side of the final.

Plan B is to sell the Mem for something (housing/student Accomodation etc etc) but this will be for less than the 30m Sainsbury's offered. I believe the Board will settle, but the amount has to be the difference between 30m and the amount Plan B offers.

But Plan would only work if Sainsbury's make us an offer, so far, all the signs are that they are not interested in making an offer? Anyway making offers on the morning of the first day of a trial is something which happens on the TV, in real life offers are made before the costs of trial solicitors & barristers are incurred.

That is my point. Sainsbury's have probably not offered the amount necessary to settle.....yet.

They will make an offer.
The board wouldn't have taken it this far if they didn't know they had a water tight case. It is now just a case of seeing how much money we can get back out of Sainsburys.
Would love to think that there is a plan B already in place, we will see.

Now the judge has had time to read all the papers, maybe it will take him only a day or 2 to find in our favour... And then Shamesburys appeal..................................................... They can only appeal if they think a point of law is at issue.....

I've said before, I believe that the Board already have Plan B in place. Yeah, it would be a total dereliction of duty by the board if they don't have a Plan B, at this stage.

Fair play to you for taking the trouble to travel up to London for this. My sister lives in Leeds village outside Maidstone and obviously am going to Wembley for Sunday's game so this is a "sight seeing detour" but costing £36 a day for the rail fare.
Off to Kent tomorrow and would be only too happy to waste £36 if case settled on the Court steps at 09.59
stopped of at services by leeds castle on way to and way back from dover.... the tint of the glasses could have made them the best service station in the world.... but they were sh1t....

As you are obviously going to be very quick to blame the board if it does not go well for us on thursday is it safe to assume that you will sing their praises from the roof tops if indeed they are victorious?

As you are obviously going to be very quick to blame the board if it does not go well for us on thursday is it safe to assume that you will sing their praises from the roof tops if indeed they are victorious? I will be quick to blame the board if they end up fecking this all up, you're right, but they will deserve it, won't they? If it all goes wrong on Thursday will you blame the board, or will you patrol the forum looking for posters that don't fit your levels of posting-acceptability, and demand that they hypothetically praise the board for something that hasn't happened? And, actually the subtext of my post was that I was very confident that the board have a plan B in place, all ready to go. But, you know, don't let anything like that get in the way of your self-appointed policing of the forum. If it looks like criticism of the board, however small, even if it's not, you need to come down on it like a ton of bricks, it's the only language we understand. And it's your self-appointed duty. Now, carry on with your patrol.

Just been told by BRFC the case now starts on FRIDAY.
Hell, that's £36 down the drain for a non refundable treain ticket.

They appointed legal advisors who we can only assume advised them the contract was in order before they signed it, and the Board could hardly anticipate Trash causing so much delay followed by Sainsbury's deciding to walk?
