..... and free passage for anybody who has an antipodean addy for the first game at UWE.. I've got a feeling that in my dream I may have commandeered Lansdown's executive jet to fly me over after he'd been chased down by HMRC and they held an impromptu on-the-spot firesale of all his assets. It gets a bit hazy after that though to be honest. This um, dream. Did it also involve Kylie and a bucket of swarfega?

Their qc said if we have to buy it, it is better we know now, than waiting to hear the result later on, he would not fill me with much confidence, I reckon we won t get to court. The judge will see through the stalling tactics, he will have looked at the evidence, and will have the relevant barristers in his chambers and it will be called off. "called off" it's not a footbal match!!

Just been told by BRFC the case now starts on FRIDAY.
Hell, that's £36 down the drain for a non refundable treain ticket. if its FGW ticket, not everyone knows they do allow transfer to another day for £10 admin fee COuldnt see Roth had anything on today so perhaps he's taken a couple of days off to sort his Wembley tickets out

This um, dream. Did it also involve Kylie and a bucket of swarfega? oh, so you've had this dream too? Oh yes. My favourite bit was were Kylie appeared as the trolley dolly on the plane, and she told me the "mile high club is after your member...um, membership", all said with a cheeky grin as she snapped on her laytex gloves.............

As you are obviously going to be very quick to blame the board if it does not go well for us on thursday is it safe to assume that you will sing their praises from the roof tops if indeed they are victorious? I will be quick to blame the board if they end up fecking this all up, you're right, but they will deserve it, won't they? If it all goes wrong on Thursday will you blame the board, or will you patrol the forum looking for posters that don't fit your levels of posting-acceptability, and demand that they hypothetically praise the board for something that hasn't happened? And, actually the subtext of my post was that I was very confident that the board have a plan B in place, all ready to go. But, you know, don't let anything like that get in the way of your self-appointed policing of the forum. If it looks like criticism of the board, however small, even if it's not, you need to come down on it like a ton of bricks, it's the only language we understand. And it's your self-appointed duty. Now, carry on with your patrol. what a load of tosh. It hacks me off when people like you who have no real understanding of a situation are quick to jump on the negative and get ready to kick a man when he is down. All i asked is for a balanced response if in fact we win the case and you answer with absolute bilge.

Anyway making offers on the morning of the first day of a trial is something which happens on the TV, in real life offers are made before the costs of trial solicitors & barristers are incurred. it's really not...maybe not on the morning of, but all the big companies when going to court against smaller opposition will have an amount they will offer to settle for based on their risk/reward calculations. Saw it all the time when I worked for Currys. I have experienced it too .

I think because of the gravity of this case for other "Supermarket deals" they have put somebody who is well versed in this type of case
Lots of publicly with this lady !
