Just got back to my sister's in Kent after a rece of tomorrows Court building.
Yes the case is on in Court 17, stating at 10.30. It is NOT in the building that you see on television but in the New Rolls Building in Fetter Street.
It's a medium size court, like the one in Bristol for the Trash appeal. Wi-Fi is provided by BT Openzone BUT there are no power sockets in the area for spectators, so laptops, tablets may get drained of power before the end of each day.
I gather Nick Higgs, Edward Ware and Toni Watola will be in attendance from tomorrow, to keep me company.
Looking forward to tomorrow. Will try to keep you updated as I am unaware that anyone from the club will be Tweeting as Kirsty is no longer with us.
Game on.

I assume you can't use laptops etc in the public gallery anyway whilst the Judge is in the court room?

Look out for the tell tale signs. Main one being all our board members turning up with trouser tee pees where they've just received a blood pumping offer!!

Thanks in advance for your efforts Severncider Sorry to pry (so feel free not to answer if you do not wish too), but do you have a law background? I.e., when the judge and the parties involved are speaking law jargon, will you be able to understand whether what they are saying is good/bad for our chances etc? Just wondered

I assume you can't use laptops etc in the public gallery anyway whilst the Judge is in the court room? you can. as long as you don't mind a waterboarding in the bogs, thumb screws in the interrogation room, and a good bumming in the alley outside.

Game on. so like Wembley, people always assume it is massive but when the evidence actually comes out it isn't much bigger than what we are used to. I like away games. And as we haven't lost in 20 away games, I quite fancy our chances. I guess it is 10.30 on Police advice so no-one can get watersed before kick-off and give it all large style? Wise move. Their 'Taste The Difference' crew have got quite rep on the terraces.

Yes, you can use laptops but NOT mobile phones within the Court room.
I do not have a Facebook account and do not use Twitter.
Only to happy to give a summary of what's happening but not a running commentary. The one problem that struck me was there are no power sockets near the spectators. There are some tables with power sockets but these are reserved for the legal teams.
At the appeal by Trash at the Bristol Court, Kirsty was tweeting from her laptop on one of the powered tables. To conserve power I may have to send brief comments and update these at lunch time and the end of the day.
I'll do my best and hope it is all worth it.

Can you do one of those crappy pastel drawings of the court scene, please. Rovers Chairman Nick Higgs storms into the witness box in a desperate last-minute appeal. Some described it as pathetic. Others secretly admired his trousers.
