I moved to Yorkshire because l couldn't afford to move from St George (BCC) to Kingwood (SGC) where the better schools were - and this was 13 years ago. Move the boundaries and watch Kingwood house prices plummet.

But in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter....it's an 18 month build, so when we win it doesn't matter if it's today or November....as long as we win and the UWE is still ready to go.,... I think it might matter, though. As someone famous once said: "There are three people in this marriage". The third being UWE themselves. If the decision drags on, is inconclusive about whether what we might be awarded will pay for the stadium, or leads to an appeal by either party (very likely if the grocers win), then UWE might lose patience and decide to do something else with their land. We don't know what UWE signed up to in their contract with us (or perhaps a three-way contract with all parties), but whatever the legal boys at UWE agreed, I doubt very much if they would have sanctioned delays lasting for several years. Which is the situation we are getting close to now, possibly, since this was originally all signed-off in 2012 or thereabouts. Given SGC really want the stadium (for their own politicial reasons) I would guess there is pressure on UWE from them to hold on as long as possible (certainly a 'final' delay of a few weeks shouldn't matter). SGC want a 21000 capacity stadium to fulfil part of their 'Masterplan', and we're the only company in a position to offer it in the forseeable future. To be honest, I think our agreement with UWE must be pretty solid because if it wasn't I think someone else would have speculated and then offered to build it under the current planning permission and then 'amend' the permissions if we didn't want to be tennants to make sure they could get more concerts and probably Bath rugby in for some of their bigger games.

I doubt a £30m staduim would be viable for a few concerts and the odd Bath game?

Probably has a pre-hearing preliminary hearing to test if her contract with sainsburys for 32 million nectar points is watertight.

Court Clerk: "Your Honour, Mr Higgs has been on the phone yet again asking when your verdict might arrive, and just checking that maybe (ahem) I had failed to remind you." Mrs Justice Proudman: "Who is this Higgs person?" CC: "The Chairperson of Bristolian Rovers, m'lady." MJP:
