If you haven't seen it, his pub sing song has been shared quite widely through pages such as The Sport Bible and has been viewed on that almost 800,000 times! Personally, I think it's brilliant to have a manager with that much passion and who seems to genuinely care about the club as much as the fans. Just wondered what everyone else's opinions were. Is it a good thing and good for the club or does it give him a bad name and the club a bad reputation?
In case you haven't seen it yet:

Love the man, passionate, in touch with the fans, loves the club and to be honest he delivered what he said he would at the start of the season. We need to stick with this guy, I just hope the club will match his ambitions. So.... WE ARE GOING UP SAY WE ARE GOING UP

Lets hope this type of behaviour puts off other clubs from making him an offer.
If he has this sort of success next season we may have to start spiking his drinks after each game!

He should and could be sacked for his behaviour. Getting sloshed and swearing sets a bad example to our supporters who think it's great. Also to his young players who should be looking up to the gaffer for a guide on behaviour and conduct. There are ways to celebrate in style without making a twit of yourself. All that being said, if it was just rumours-ie, happened behind closed doors, I wouldn't mind too much. I am a little embarrassed that an ambassador for the club has done this and even did it after the FGR game prior to the final.
I fully understand that certain members of our fanbase love this type of stuff and think he's a proper lad. He's not. He is the Manager. I will also not be surprised if those that think this is great are the first to turn on him when things start going wobbly wrt results.
All my opinion and recognise that DC is the best thing to happen here for a very long time.

Brilliant manager, brilliant season, but tone it down a little for me.

Very good manager for one so young and relatively inexperienced and I put these celebrations down to the unbelievable pressure that he has been under all year just erupting after a good successful campaign, absolutely fine by me.
To say he should be sacked for it is just to me a complete and ridiculous over reaction, he hasn't actually slagged off anyone and has only sworn once, just a very happy and slightly drunk celebration, are we really that sensitive?

This is just a release of all the pressure and grief since the Mansfield game. In this day and age you can't Fart without someone capturing it so I am more than happy to see him enjoying his moment. He is human and one of us. Ok maybe fergie or wenger wouldn't do this or at least let it get into the media but they haven't suffered the pressure he has been under. No one died and no one was personally abused - we move on.

I loved the clip of Darrell in the Vic and I wish I had been there also I don't blame him for his response to the Grimsby rag. However we would be kidding ourself if we thought these clips and the one of Matty enhance the reputation of the club however much we enjoy them. Darrell is a smashing bloke and a great manager, but he has a responsibilty to his players to lead by example and as a role model. I want Darrell Clarke to be our manager, but I think he needs to be careful because the media are a ruthless bunch of.......

The difference now is that anyone with the cheapest phone can be the paparazzi and I think DC should be mindful of this. It will come back to haunt him when he has a period of failure and as G79 says the people now who are putting him on a pedestal will be the same ones who will knock him off in the bad times. The phrase 'lead by example' comes to mind and those who he manages will do the same, Taylor's already in trouble, any connection?

Just a huge release from him after a hell of a year. Who'd begrudge him that? A sign of the times that it's all over social media and perhaps Ferguson and Wenger wouldn't do it, but we wanted passion didn't we?!
It might make the club look bad from the outside, but we're not on the outside, were on the inside and it makes us feel like we have a manager who's as passionate as we are.

As long as we're winning he'll be fine, start losing, you can then turn this poll on it's head...that's football.

The fact that there is even a thread about this is pathetic.
We have just got promoted on the first time of asking back into the football league, and there's people on here critiscising the manager and players for celebrating!!!
Anybody thinking along these lines needs to have a long hard look at themselves, and ask if they are possibly suited to watching football.
Absolutely pathetic.

It is when it's a negative opinion sucking the life out the club and any positivity or celebrations.
Go and do something else, Rovers doesn't need you.
