It's the hope that kills you and i'm sick of it to tell the truth I wish I could "really like" this post.

It's the hope that kills you and i'm sick of it to tell the truth summed up in one! The hope is always there but being a gashead means the worst outcome is always a distinct possibility.

So that's £20,000 if I want to encourage my son to keep going! Good idea, especially if you have 2 or 3 kids! Sorry what are you on about? I said 2000 seats not every seat. This would be to enable the build, it wouldn't be compulsory. Of course not everyone could afford it, myself included as I have two kids. I work for a small company though where corporate entertainment is really important. They buy 5 season tickets at Saracens every year and host numerous other events. Its companies like these that I think would see this as a good deal - a seat at every event for life. That's equivalent to about £400 for a season ticket over 25 years regardless of the level of competition which would hopefully be higher than L2 if we moved to UWE. Plus you would get access to an exclusive members area and have access to all concerts and facilities. I cant believe I'm the only one that thinks this could work? I think it's a great idea but think we'd struggle to sell 2,000 . A 1000 maybe ?

I agree. We lost. Accept it and move on. Starting from scratch unfortunately. Well. Scratch minus 2 million quid. Don't be pedantic.

That's the problem if we throw in the towel now and don't appeal, which I don't think we should, even if we get lucky and find somebody willing to pay £15m for the Mem, which is a big price without any pp, then we've still only got £7m to fund a £30m+ project build. Let's face facts the UWE is now dead in the water. The big problem is how we manage the Wonga loan/combined debt whilst we'd like NH to depart he's probably the only person who can keep us a float by not calling in his loan?

It might work, like I said. The completed stadium bit will be the problem but if you could get a few hundred people interested.....maybe the BoD would allow you a seat at the table to talk about it?
I doubt it. They won't even let incumbent directors a seat at the table... how many directors are actually left? it could be one of those collapsible picnic tables maybe
