Just a question with the information you are purveying did you actually see and read the contract or is this just your speculation I read carefully through every page of the judgement, not the contract, and everything in points 1) to 4) is confirmed in that document, as I understood it. So you haven't actually read the contract and the small print, just a judgement on a small aspect of the contract the JS were using to declare it null and void.I believe the contract was 9 pages long with a lot of minutiae that could have been read 2 ways, unfortuneately the judge read it 1 way, perhaps the appeal court judge will have a different view of things, especially the effect the JR had on the timing of the completion of the contract, something the judge overlooked in her summation

I've drawn a great picture of a football pitch on the moon. Knocks pictures of UWE into a cocked hat. I've got a watertight contract with NASA sorted too. I'm a genius. A pitch on the moon is pointless for so many reasons I won't list them here. See my post above and let me know your thoughts rather than just pointless sarcasm... NO atmosphere for a start

Still standing by my pitch on the moon. More chance of us coming up there to join you than standing by your side at UWE?

"but secures the future for the current fans and the next generation of fans"
I fear that comments may come back to bite you early next year if we lose the Appeal?

I am so glad you said "if we lose the appeal" so many on here would not agree with that, they are convinced, without any actual knowledge, that it's a lost cause. I here time and time again that NH doesn't listen to anybody, well he has a whole legal team talking and advising him, I have yet to hear of any top flight legal advice being posted on here. Now I will get my coat and kevlar vest.

An eminent QC once advised me the best lawyer to find was a one armed one. His reasoning was that you couldn't get the advice of " on one hand this, but on the other...."

Approx of 80% Appeals are lost so the odds are stacked in Sainsbury's favour and what's the betting the losing partys legal teams have all told their clients they had a good case? Although I can't recall our own legal teams advice ever being made public, for all we know it could be they don't even think we have a chance but it's just worth a punt having gone this far, don't forget NH told us the contracts were watertight not so long ago!

This thread talks in the present and the present at the mo isn't good, we all know that. However to change we have to create in the future and that's the tricky bit which NH has had the courage to take on. I just hope NH isn't doing a Robert Maxwell, hopefully not, but how many of us could have got to this far with this amazing idea? Its a bit like putting boots on Tbone, could he play better than Matty?
